And not just Showtime...Showtime Unlimited. We get it FREE for 3 months from Dish Network. I don't know why, they said it was for being a "loyal custmer". I guess it's probably because we've had Dish Network for about a year now. That was really nice of them.

We are also getting it for 3 months starting nov 1.
Princess Aurora - we always check HBO and other channels on the weekends because off and on they keep giving us free channels on some weekends. The channels aren't always the same.

Did Dish notify you, or did the channels just show up? Just curious, as I have Dish, and do not pay for any movie channels.

I received something in the mail yesterday for the free 3 months. But for the off and on weekend HBO and other channels I never receive anything I just check the channels alot on the weekends.

Yeah, we got a little card in the mail that said we'd get it starting Nov. 1 to Jan 31.

A couple of weeks ago we got all the Starz channels for a free preview weekend and then we had it the weekend after that too. No, they never send you anything to tell you about those (although they should) you just have to watch for the commercials that advertise them.

Marketing at its American best. They give it to you "free" hping that you will continue with the service after the free months are up.

Cool, I hope I get one too. We had the 2 weekends of Starz too, taped several movies on the PVR.
