Ok here goes day 2, of course we are heading to magic kingdom ...I figured mlk day was going to be crazy so we saved the best for day 2...

We are up bright and early today, we are at the breakfest buffet by 7:30 and by 8:30 on our way to magic kingdom..Oh yeah forgot to mention we had to get 4 new key cards for our room, we all needed to get our bags and snacks for the park, and i must say our DUMB key cards were not working the whole trip....Any hoo, we get there finding that we must take the monorail...Well Andy was in heaven he got to go on a choo choo...
I am in total aw when my dd and i see the castle from far far away , but still such a sight . We get off the mono and down to bag check ..What a circus with 6 people ...We all had a back pack with lunch and all the stuff like gloves, [which by the way we did use...] Oh yeah word of tips if you can find back pack that are see through the security loved my dd ..
THE CASTLE OMG..That is all i can say, i guess i am a romantic at heart b/c it was sooooooo pretty to say the least...Even with the ugly green wall it still was such a sight ..Oh yeah they now added planters and a light or a candle holder thingy..Any hooo wow of course we took bunches of pictures at every few steps...We head right to frontier land , needless to say most of our day was spent here....As we walk in a round the corner we saw the big steam boat, son goes nuts as it is pulling away...We just took in some sites till it came back and hopped on it ...Little disapointed that we got in line to only find out we had to go in a different way for the wheel chair to go on ...When we were at the animal kingdom the were cm's everywhere to tell us which way to go ...Not at mk..That was not the only ride that happened to in the magic kingdom..

How about a suggestion box to the MK and tell them that disabilities need more signs........that is always a good idea......
thanks for your excitement and you made me excited for our trip too..... :cool1:

Dd wore her snow white outfit ,boy did she get the comments ..It was good morning princess or hello snow white...One of the cm's told me if we cant find her someone will call around to see where she'd be..That was sooo cool and of coure the dis magic....We were taken to the front of most rides since Andy is in the wheel chair, and cant walk but hubby carries his butt when he has to tranfer to a ride... Went better than i expected...We were shocked how many he was able to go on with out leaving his chair...{ small town knoebles in my area doesnt have a single ride to do that with ....} So we were in amazement... Any hoo, we finally heading to the parade route which we didnt even realize was right where we were the whole time.. So after the amazing parade we head to, fantasyland... What a mistake so did everyone else that was just at the parade also...Ok i read that on here some where but i must say my brain was froze once we got there...Oh well learn from your mistake right? lol I think all we got to do was cindys carrousel.. I didnt even feel like doing the fast pass i was soooooooooo paranoid having 7 tickets in my fanny pack i hated to take them out...

Next up was toon town, How cool was minnies house and then mickey...I was wondering how come you can play around in minnies house but mickeys was roped off.. Any hoo we had a blast taking tons of picture by the way...And the tent i walked up to but saw it looked like a store so i turned around not realizeing that was where you go in and pic what line of character you wanted to meet ..Didnt know till friday duh...Another brain block ..Dont know something some one will always send you in the right direction, {well except the turkey leg episode , youll have to wait till day 6 lol}
By now its 6ish so we head back to fantasy land to get on the pooh ride...{determined we were not going to miss this ride..Dd was just as mad as 35 yr mom , wanting to do the pooh ride...By now we get to go meet ariel at her grotto...Hubby was shocked to see a real person and loved her shell bacini top..{smack} DD was sooo thrilled and son well lets say hes may be handicapped but like his red hedded women lol..{ must take after dad} :love:

This is where there wasnt much disney magic for us...Boy was i peeved. We then were told we had to leave the area but could come back after the fireworks... So we head down to the castle wow where did all these people come from i saw it was busy but wow..So by now i am in front of trees trying to get pics of castle and fireworks ..By now i realize i am not trying to fight the crowd, not with the 4 kids and wheelchair .. No way ..Ok so i say hey lets go up to the roped area watch the fireworks and then jump on the pooh ride as soon as they open it again..{i read on here everyone thinks the parks closes so go hop on ride quick} Needless to say DIDNT WORK .WE got yelled at that we may not go on unless we has a wrist tag...Boy everyone saw my fireworks go off.... But i did not freek i was polite and walked off grumbling...Needless to say we left right then and there b/c i new id make a scene and i didnt want my kids remembering mom getting hancuffed a disney world...All i say is well we are going to skip something one day and come back. The end for day 2 stay tuned lol ...

Eeyorelor, I hate it when my room keys stop working. That happens far too often (and it has happened in just about every resort/hotel we've stayed in, too). ARG!

I bet the choo-choo ride was priceless. To this day the monorail will always be the "Mono-rella" to me because that is what my daughter began calling it as a small child (Monorella, Cinderella, you get the picture).

The castle always takes my breath away, too. I can never grow tired of looking at that beautiful castle, ~sigh.~

Okay, where are those PICTURES? I wanna see PICTURES!! (hint hint)

Janet
