Giving back to others is a very important part of what as parents, Jennifer and I, want to teach our children. How does one keep these kiddos grounded as they are receiving their every wish and living a dream? We have decided that we are going to tip well and give out as many “thank you”s as possible. We want them to be involved in the process of appreciating all that the CMs put into making our stay extra special. We have made Mousekeeping envelopes and little thank you cards for the kiddos to hand out to people who go above and beyond.
I saw sooooo many ideas on the DISigns board that I had a hard time deciding what to use!! I thought, huh, I wonder if I can make these? Well, guess what…I did and I am gonna give you a sneak peak:

Now let’s make this clear…I AM NOT CREATIVE!
My idea of “craftiness” is going to the store with Tera to buy crafty crap. So…from here on out…I will refer to all of Tera’s craft-i-ness as CC (short for crafty crap)!
Anywho…Tera can’t leave anything alone…she now not only wants our children to SAY thank you…but she wants them to DEMONSTRATE their thankfulness. So, she got this bang-up idea that she should totally make magnetic thank you cards for CM’s that make an impression upon our polite, thankFULL youths! That’s right…I said magnetic
…because the CM is definitely gonna run on home and plaster our magnetic thank you on his/her/mouse/tigger fridge. (Do you think they dress up at home?? Do you think that instead of a funny maid outfit…they’re like Cindirella or the Prince for their SO’s at home???)
So…with all of Tera’s CC…we have to go above and beyond. We must hand out magnetic thank yous…and it’s not good enough to just “tip” mousekeeping…we must make an impression people!!!! We want towel animals!!! So…of course…Tera put her CC stamp on everything and developed her own line of mousekeeping envelopes with witty sayings!!!! She was sooooo proud…it’s as if her only child was getting married…
Before I run on this section of our trippie…let me just tell you that Tera is full up to her ears in CC. She crapbooks…oops…I mean scrapbooks…
Let me just tell you about her latest venture into the scrapbooking world…which I am now addicted to as well! They are called paper bag books. Do a search on e-bay and millions will pop up!!! That’s right people…Tera can even make paper bags look sexy!
Alls I’m sayin is my entire closet is now full to the brim with paper bags and papers and cutty thingies and trinkets and such! We are gonna have a million paper bag albums to do when we get back…
And…we do hire ourselves out…so…if you’re like…needing an album or somethin’…
