Our seatmates on our JETBLUE flight to Orlando gave us free passes, so we used them last July 4th on a rainy day. We are both 50+ and have never been to Disney Quest or Wonderworks. We had fun. Our tickets included laser tag too which we have never done. Its a good rainy day experience. We didn't stay for the pizza dinner as we wanted to get back to WDW for the holiday fireworks.
we went to wonderworks last visit...it was worth a visit but we were round in 90 minutes. Not sure i'd go again but it was a nice way to pass time on an evening after dinner
We were supposed to go two years ago but we changed our minds at the last minute when we were told that most of the big attractions were broken and usually are. We really haven't tried to go back since. Friends of our went to the Magic Show and they said it was cute and very family-friendly. If you're into more mild magic and comedy it's a good show but it isn't very adult-oriented... and I heard the pizza was gross!
We went last year with a discount from a magician friend. The magic show was cute, but nothing great (certainly not Out of Control). The pizza was fine - I wouldn't say it was gross. The rest of the exhibits were fun, but I found the place kind of dirty. We both agreed that it was ok, but we would never pay even close to what they are asking for to get in. It's one of those places that looks really cool on the outside and is a dump inside.
No offense, but you might want to look for reviews of people that actually went.
We did this about a year ago, its not very big and about a 2 hour max attraction. The kids enjoyed it alot and ALL the attractions were indeed working at the time. We did not do that magic show so I can't comment on that part. If you have kids I think they will enjoy it. If your just adults then it would be a skip (for me at least).
We did the magic show about 3 years ago with kids. Lots of audience participation. Our DS (5 at the time) really enjoyed it and I would say that the style and quality of the magic really lends itself to kids (possibly 9 and under - after that the kids start working out how its done - I call it the "know it all" syndrome.).
Pizza wasn't the best, but was OK - edible and as much as you wanted.
Beer/wine was not brilliant either (but then in my experience they never are at the dinner shows).
Based on what I saw, I would not recommend it for just adults - I don't think the quality of the magic is good enough for that. I would probably go again but just for the kids.
