Can adults attend the Wonderland Tea Party with their kids? We are scheduled to be a WDW April 2nd along with my mother-in-law and I know she would love taking my 9 year old twins to this. :cool1:

I think they prefer adults do not stay in room. You drop your kids off at the room and get a pager. And when you return to pick your kids up, be sure not to peak in the room. It's a fun event for kids.

I have a couple of pictures of this event in my sig.

Nope, it's a kid thing. But it's well organized and fun for the kids.

They shoo out the adults and close the doors. The adults are not allowed to stay.

I'd suggest booking a lunch reservation for you and your MIL at the GF Cafe right around the corner, it's a lovely room, casually elegant, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

We took the monorail to MK at got on all the big rides and made it back with 10 mins to spare.

If parents are "caught" peeking through the doors, all the kids are trained to shout "NO PEEKING" at them.

We are also looking for something special for DD to do with MIL when we go as she is paying and I am organizing and I want this trip to be the trip of a lifetime for her too. We were thinking something really fun for DD and MIL to do together would be thh My Disney Girls Perfectly Princess Tea, it is more expensive at $200 for one child and one adult but they get a lot of stuff out of it and I think both my DD(she will be 5) and MIL will love it.

As the others have stated, the Wonderland Tea Party (click here for official WDW website) is for young folks aged 3 - 10 years of age. However, Disney was offering something called the My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party (click here for official WDW website). I'm not sure if it's still offered or if it will be offered during your vacation, but it is worth looking into. My daughter, husband, and I attended it a year or so ago. We had a lovely time (if you'd care to read about it and see photos of the event, click here -- just look for the post entitled, "Grand Floridian Day Two, Part 1" on that page).
