I was looking at the wonderland tea party just wondering if my 7yo DD would like it or is she too old? Has anyone experieced this? It looks like alot of fun. Do you need priority seating or can you walk up? Can't afford the other one. Thanks! 3 days and counting! :cheer2:

My DD went when she was 7 and had a great time. Most of the other kids were younger but the ladies in charge made sure everyone participated and my DD says Alice and the Mad Hatter were very funny. She brought home a great picture of herself with them with autographs in a small photo folder. PS are needed and they usually fill up quickly. I would call and maybe there was a cancellation.

Can anyone give me a sense of whether very many boys attend, if any? I've got both my DD4 and DS6 signed-up, but my DS6 is just now beginning to get the sense that tea parties are a "girly" thing. If he's not going to like it, I wouldn't want to make him suffer through it...particularly since this is a "drop-off" event.

My 8 year old has done this twice and really enjoyed it both times. My 5 year old loved it too. They did it together this past October.

It should be booked early so you'll have to try and call and hope for a cancellation. If they do not have any cancellations on the phone, I don't think you will be able to get in as a walk up as they take a CC for no shows so most cancel early so as not to get charged...

good luck!

My daguhter also did this last February when she was 4. It was the highlight of her trip. There were 2 or 3 boys when she was there. I asked the CM and she said that was about average and there is hardly one with out at least one boy (usually a brother).

I don't think they do a lot of sitting at the table drinking tea.. they played games and other things. Also, you can't peek. Everytime a parent peeked into the windows they would yell "NO PEEKING" it was cute!

Oh dang this is sounding so fun!!! It's past the 90 days for our trip but I just might have to see if I can get her in or not.. My dd just loves to have Tea Parties and one with characters would be great..

The tea my DD went to had 2 boys. I believe they were both brothers who attended with their sisters (different families). When I went to p/u DD after the tea, everyone including the boys had smiles on their faces and were very happy to show off their crafts and pictures to the parents.
