Does anyone know what days the Wonderland tea party is offered at the GF? Is there a site somewhere I can read up on it.?
Thanks for any info.

God Bless Our Troops.

Check out Deb Wills site (wdwig.com).

My little girl has done the Tea Party three times - she LOVES it!!! This year, she's trying the Grand Adventures in Cooking (also at the Grand Floridian). She's very excited - she's already planning how to decorate her chef's hat!

The Tea Party, I believe, is held five days a week. You may want to check with Disney to see if this has changed recently. The kids have their "tea" with Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. They also play games, Allison said they crawled around in search of something one time. She always requests to do the Tea Party!

Hi!

My DD just did it in January. When I booked they told me that it
was Tuesday or Thursday that I had to pick from. Now that was
off season, so they may offer more during the heavy season.
Hope this helps. My DD "LOVES" Both.

My DD was 4 when she did it and LOVED every minute of it. It cost about $25.

The kids frosted cupcakes with their fingers, drank "tea" from cute teapots, made flower bouquets, and played games with ALice and the Mad Hatter.

It was worth every penny!

my passporter says M-F 1:30-2:30 PM. DD is scheduled for the first Friday in June. I think she's going to love it:p

My daughter wants to do both...which would be the most fun for a 7 year old. She loved the pirate cruise last year.

My daughter and son are booked for a Wednesday. The info I referenced notes it's offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. From the other messages here, it sure sounds pretty changeable. The info I got is from the DIS's website back in December '02.

Here is what the official Disney World website (www.disneyworld.com) currently states about the Wonderland Tea Party:

As always, everything Disney is subject to change without prior notice (you can find out when it is offered for your vacation when you book your PS reservation).

I have a few photos of the tea party posted in one of my on-line photo albums: click here for my Wonderland Tea Party photos. My daughter adores all three of the GF's children's activities and I can't wait to book them for our upcoming vacation.

Do the parents stay for the party or are the children dropped off and picked up when it is over? My DD is participating next week. Thanks.

Only the children are allowed to attend the event. Since the event doesn't last very long, I usually walk over to the snack bar and grab a bite to eat. I then sit outside at the marina and enjoy my snack and the fresh air. Sometimes I bring a magazine or book along with me and I sit in the lobby and either read or people-watch. The GF is a beautiful resort, and if you haven't visited it before, I would suggest you just roam its grounds while your child attends the Wonderland Tea Party.

I was thinking of this or Great Adentures in Cooking for DD since she loves to cook but since she'll only be 3.5 when we return for our next trip I'm thinking maybe Wonderland Tea party. Can anyone tell me the ages of the kids there? I know the youngest to attend is 3.

My daughter is very interested in the tea party, and will be 3 on our next trip. I'm not sure she will stay by herself. I know that parents are not allowed but will they allow them to stand outside the glass door? I know after a few minutes at the party, she would be fine but it would be comforting to be able to see us outside the door. Has anyone ever done this for a younger child, what was the outcome?
Thanks for the information in advance.
:D

Everything I have read has stated that parents are "strongly encouraged" to leave while the party is underway. Now, that differs from not being allowed to attend. DD will probably not mind us leaving her there for the party, but if she did, I would simply insist that I be allowed to remain in the corner of the room in order to reassure her.

I agree with you. Surely they would allow a parent to stay within sight of the child, especially if the child would not stay under any other circumstances. You'll have to let me know the outcome of your experience. Thanks for the input.
