I am thinking this would be fun for my DD and DN (both 5 YO) on our next trip. Could anyone share their experiences with this?

You are talking about the one in the grand floridan with alice and the mad hatter? The cheaper one?
If so, my 3 girls did this last trip. Almost 2 years ago, they still talk and laugh about it all the time.
Dessert first! Then sandwiches, they played hide and seek with alice and the mad hatter, apparantly the mad hatter had them just laughing and laughing.
They loved it. They have asked to go back again. We walked around the grand floridian with the baby while they were in the tea party.
They did this and a pirate cruise, and both of those things were two of their very very favorite things from the whole trip. Worth the money.

They will LOVE IT. My Dd did it when she was 5 and when she was 8. She still laughs about it and has some hidden joke about the mad hatter.

It is very well done, the kids decorate and enjoy cupcakes. Alice sit at the head of the table and the mad hatter at the foot. If the kids are unsure maybe seat them toward the middle of the table.

Yes, this is the one that I am talking about. Thank you both for your input!

You get a choice where to place them?? That would be great as DD6 is a little intimidated by Mad Hatter, but loves Alice. I think she'll love him when it gets started.

Is this tea party real 'girly'? My DS6 is so obsessed with all things Alice in Wonderland (the original Disney cartoon) he wants to be the mad hatter for halloween.

I don't think it would be too girly for your son. Boys are welcome to go (and would love it b/c the Mad Hatter is so silly). Just make sure he's ok with the fact that he may be the only boy there (just b/c most parents would consider it a 'girl' thing). I took a book and enjoyed an hour of peace & quiet while DD went to the tea party. She had a blast!

How much is this tea party and where would I find more info? I did not even know they had a tea party like this. OP, thanks for starting this thread! We are going in Dec and this would be a special little something for my DD6.

edit: I just found some info!

Just wondering if anyone had any recent reviews of this, especially since they stopped serving sandwiches. Is it still worth the money for cupcakes and juice and the interaction? Thanks!

I would love to know this too.

And, DNeice will be 9 - is that too old? (It will be her first trip so I want to find something special for her too)
