What do you think the chances are of them extending the free dining, beyond 9/24/11? Hubby & I will be in WDW 10/16 - 10/24, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

i'm thinking no unless their numbers are significantly down.

september is the slowest month of the year...no coincidence ground zero for "free dining"

October, on the other hand...is very crowded for a variety of reasons and has been one of the fastest growing months at WDW for quite some time now.

It may happen...but assume it won't for your own purposes for now

Hope not. Love to see the quality go up.
+1 It would certainly be a start in the right direction! I don't think it will ever be back to where was but it could certainly improve significantly.

Of course no one knows what Disney plans to do for promos but I have a hard time believing their bookings are where they want them to be. They seem to be sending out pins for 20% off to select few, but I would guess that come June/July Free dining will be extended just like in years past.

We are going 10/30 - 11/09/11. This is the 1st time in years we are not going in Sept. during the free dining. B/c part of my trip is work related I am able to afford to go at this time. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any discounts or dinning offers that were offered during this time in the past. I would really hope to take advantage of those savings and may go to the mnsshp or the christmas party.

My family and I have gone to Disney muliple times during the first week of November due to the fact that the kids only miss three days of school because it is when they have the NJ Teachers convention. Unfortunately it has always been one of the blackout dates for the free dining.
