the middle of the week

What are you all doing

I am going to be at work ALL DAY
and then Girl Scouts tonight

but the good news is it is finally suppose to be a DRY DAY!!!!!!!

I am also wondering......

If buttered bread always lands on the butter-side down and a cat always lands on its feet, what happens if you strap buttered bread to a cat's back?

Today should be better than yesterday.

Its raining here but its been so dry we really need it. My new house is all finished on the outside so they can still work in the rain so I shouldn't have anymore rain delays to deal with. Woohoo

As for your question I disproved it this weekend. LOL I dropped buttered bread and it landed butte side up and if I drop my cat she just plops however I dropped her. She is such a trusting kittie. I might have issues if she stays that way once we have children.

Good morning, everyone!

I have to work all day today, getting ready for state testing next week! (Fun, fun!) Then, I am going to exercise, but after that, I'm pretty much done for the evening. I'm hoping to get to bed early tonight (I just got up, and I'm already ready for sleep! )

As for the buttered bread, I'm pretty sure that both of my cats would manage to get the bread eaten (no matter where it was strapped to them) before they ever hit the ground!

Big day here today...My DD9 is competing in her first baton competition. I am one nervous Mommy!

Besides that, it is a beautiful, sunny day and we have 23 days of school left!

And talking about toast - What was the best thing before sliced bread?

Good morning, all.

Well, let's see, I have a late start this morning because I am going for an interview in just a bit. Then I have to go to work for a while. Then I have to leave to take my car back to get some more work done (it is still not completely fixed from DH's wreck). THEN, I have to come and do invoicing for the architectural firm (not too bad because I got payroll, time sheets, and accounts payable done last night). After that, I'm free.

Man, I kinda wanna lay back down!

Well, so far I have gotten the kids off to school.. Got my babysitting kids here for the day... and I need to clean house and put away laundry..

Tonight we have track and soccer practice.. so it's a late dinner night...

The weather is cold and yucky here right now... I hope it gets warmer throughout the day.. We were lucky we didn't get any frost but north of us did!

Dyan congrats to your DD... I know how nervous I am before all of my kids' activities..

Nothing much planned today. I need to wash my sons Cub Scouts uniform for his graduation tomorrow, but that is about it. The good news is that the sun is out today!! I hope it stays out - maybe I can get some yard work done as well!!

This is one busy day for me. Stayed at work late last night so I could stay at home today to get ready for a trip to Portland Oregon.

So, here's the list.

A load of laundry so I have my favorite outfit to take with me.
Called mil for ride to the bus.
Check Dis to relax
Write packing list
Go to bank and Post Office
Pack
Organize travel docs
Remember things I forgot (I hope this step happens before I leave)
Finish necklace I'm making for DD in Portland
Check Dis to wind down
Snuggle with dd (dear doxies)
Get on the bus at 2:50 and let go of everything I should have done

Hope you guys don't mind my list - this actually helped me get better organized this am.

Anyone live in Portland Oregon? DD has to work tomorrow and I plan to go to Powells book store and the Japanese Gardens.

Hi, from Paris, Ontario, Canada. I am in the middle of getting my Disney/spare/scrapbooking room all put together, so I have got huge boxes of junk to go through. Trying to get this house in order and shape for a busy summer, DD13 is on a travelling baseball team. First is to get both DD13 and DD17 off to school and get my energy for the day.

DD is 12 today! Made her special breakfast and then got DD12(!) and DD10 off to school. Now quick DIS (with DD2 climbing all over my chair!) before making birthday cake and wrapping presents. We'll go out to dinner tonight to DD's favorite restaurant (Chinese). Somewhere today I need to finish up (errr... need to actually start it first!) the review draft of the PTA newsletter.

Visited Portland last fall - lovely city! The Japenese Gardens should be beautiful this time of year - enjoy!
