I am hoping that I can get a van off the EA, BUT if for some reason there is not one there, can I have another ressie but counter and for a van, but in my husbands name, would we get charged a non show fee?
just trying to think of a way around this.

I wouldn't count on a van on the EA - I don't think I've ever seen one there.

My recommendation would be that if you really need a van, your best bet is just to plan on reserving one. I know you're trying to save as much money as you can, but it's a longshot *at best* to hope for one on the EA.

I have heard of no-show fees being charged, but I don't know anyone it's actually happened to. Right now National has an online coupon for $25 of on SUVs & minivans (check out mousesavers.com) - that's a start, at least.

If you reserve a van they will charge you a no show fee of $50.00. If you have an EA reserved and you cancel they wil not charge you. It's just when you do an Emerald Reserve that they charge you.
