Wondering about whether to get the express pass..

I will be there Mardi Gras 2013 for our first trip with two of my best friends and their families Staying off site-We will be there 2/13-2/17. Wondering if we will neeed to get the express pass or if we should be ok without it. TIA

You don't need to purchase it in advance. Wait until you get there and determine if the crowds warrant it. It can be purchased at multiple locations WITHIN the park as well as at the gates.
