Wondering About "Travel Insurance" Flyer Included With Reservations.

I have a quick question. I recently received my ressie for the fall. I've tossed out the information about travel insurance. I know I can wait until Tuesday to call MS.... but could anyone briefly tell me about it? If purchased how are we reimbursed; cash or points?

The reimbursement is $5 per point, cash. You don't get the points back. I don't think $5 is enough, you can rent distressed points for more than that. You take $5 times the number of points for the reservation and multiply the result by 5.15%, that is the premium (minimum $29). So for 150 points, it would be $750 reimbursement, $38.63 premium. Also included is $300 for travel delay, $500 for baggage & travel documents, $100 for baggage delay and Travel Guard Assistance.
