Any scuttlebutt out there on when Annual Passes may be available for non-florida residents, and when late fall discounts may release? Planning to visit in October, December, and August 23, so the AP would be most welcome!

Only rumors at this time. I think the picture on APs at WDW will become clearer around the time that the first IncrediPasses come up for renewal. That would be 60 days before the anniversary of when the first ones went on sale. So look for some sort of info regarding APs around July 10.

Very helpful, thanks! Since we will be arriving after the 1st anniversary, hopefully they will at least be able to be purchased when I am there in October so I can upgrade my tickets to an AP as I've done in the past when I knew I'd be making enough trips for it to be worth it. Here's hoping!

I think Disney is testing the water right now to see if they even need to bring AP's back at all. I would not bet on them coming back, at least not resembling anywhere close to what they were offering before.

I just did a huge AP survey and so my guess is they are still working on what will come next.

[Will check back in later with some of it. I'm heading out to buy some herbs.] UPDATED @Miffy

It was a LONG survey, longest I've ever done. 20+ minutes. Lots of what degree of agree or disagree, lots of charts with a list of items and then you hit what degree on that. Depending on how I answered I got boxes where I could actually type in my thoughts. I took photos of lots of the more interesting pages so I could remember, there were also lots of pages with basic questions.

First asked if I had cancelled my AP and the timeframe, before or after March 2020.

Lots of questions on my understanding of the characteristics of the new Annual Passes. Maybe because I had cancelled. Maybe those who had not cancelled had varied questions about their conversion.

Showed me the whole graphic of the APs and their differences.

Did I think the new ones were much worse all the way to much better.

Rate the appeal of the AP program.

Rate attributes of the AP Program, like reservations, number I can get, bonus reservations, benefits etc.

Best describe my feel about visiting WDW. (interesting usually not emotional questions).

Overall experience on last visit.

Motivation to buy AP. (hopefully they don't eliminate popular motivations to try to decrease us)

Next was about Park Reservation System.

Several pages about my attempts to do, my success in getting what I want and my satisfaction.

Why did I rate my satisfaction; not enough availability, limits flexibility, issues during trip, can't hold enough, search too cumbersome, not enough availability again (trick question), unable to book pass expire date and other.

Think about attempt and result, how many attempts.

Were you linked to a hotel stay.

How far in advance do you try.

Have you made since buying AP, well DUH I just answered questions so another trick question.

How many visits compared to expected visits.

Next was a section on AP Program.

Which (select all that apply) that help rate overall experienced with AP .. with long list of things ...
worth the price, I love disney, pays for itself, discounts, perks & benefits, great experience at parks, enjoy at my leisure, I feel like an VIP, monthly payment, is easy to use, enjoy parks, other.

How likely to renew based on current types of AP.

Reasons why you will renew pick as many as want ... enjoy visiting parks, makes affordable, pays for itself, attractions/shows/lands, special events like F&W, perks, convenient, I love Disney, allows multiple visits, AP MAY BE UNAVAILABLE AT ANY TIME.

I'm only 35% through the survey at this point and there were lot of other basic questions.

What is main reason you buy with a list basically the same.

Agree or Disagree with somewhat options ....

DISNEY APPRECIATES ME AS A PASSHOLDER

AS AN ANNUAL PASSHOLDER, I FEEL DISNEY RECOGNIZES ME AS PART OF THE DISNEY FAMILY.

Since I only somewhat agreed I got to type out why. I wish I kept that but I did compare them to Universal who does much more in park for AP, but I know Universal doesn't have special events and other things to discount.

How do you rate WDW AP Benefits.

Were you aware following available ... special event discounts VIP stuff like merchandise and previews, merchandise discounts, hotel discounts, parking included, VIP Support, Bonus reservations, F&B discounts.

How often I used each with a choice of 5 answers each.

How valuable are these perks with a choice of 4 answers each.

Pick of the list your most valuable perk and I picked FREE PARKING. I can work around the rest.

NEXT

Have you used or plan to use ... G+ and ILL.

Rate satisfaction with G+ and the got a POOR from me.

Rate satisfaction with ILL and I put Very Good because when I used it I had no complaints, its a choice.

Rate communication from WDW

Gave a list of communication options and did I now about them.

Before survey which did I get info from

In last 12 months which of the communication platforms came to me

Main source for AP updates

Which of these theme parks are you a AP ... SW, UO, Legoland

Said only UO

Legoland how likely are you to buy in next 12 mos (def not)

SW how likely are you to buy in next 12 mos (Might)

How like are you to renew WDW AP

Agree or Disagree "Universal appreciates me as a Passholder" (strongly agree)

They asked why with box ... I said Get in some parks hour early, Get discount on quick service food, Special Events like access to Mardi Gras Floats"

Disney rarely has AP only events, just discounts on stuff anyone can do

Are you aware of the discounts and special offers at SW and Legoland (YES)

Prior to survey were you aware of the following occuring ....
Harmonious, KiteTails, Remy, Beacons of Magic, Fab 50, Enchantment, Guardians

Awareness and usage AP .... Special Touches on MagicBands, exclusive AP food, preview Guardians, Complimentary Magnet AT DISNEY SPRINGS IN MARCH

Questions about my group

72% done ............... UGH

Next up Streaming

Showed graph of Netflix, HBO Max, ESPN+, HULU, Prime, Disney+ Apple TV and asked which I have access to. (we have them all we do not have cable)

Asked me who was person who holds each subscription

Do we have the Disney BUNDLE

Does anyone in house identify as LGBTQIA+

Rest was just the basic income etc questions.

Interesting for sure what they are looking at.

I check this forum about 10 times a day waiting for something concrete about passes coming back. We have a trip planned at the end of October and another long trip planned for spring break. Really hoping they figure something out by then.

Travel should come down next year. This year is on fire for travel. I wouldn't expect any discounts this year.
