The President of the United States gave a speech to the nation, and all you care about is Christmas Vacation is interupted 20 minutes??? The very same Christmas Vacation that will be 20 more times this month? Like I said, unbelievable.

Secondly, as Dawn pointed out, he is criticized for NOT giving more speeches. We can't have it both ways folks.

Could you be any more cliche??? The rich get richer...that's a bumper sticker, not an informed opinion. And exactly what did he lie about in his speech last night? I mean...if you don't need to watch him because you're so informed, what did he lie about last night?

And it bothers me because it's NOT to inform us, it's an attempt to increase his approval ratings.

Yo uthink he really cares about approval ratings? He's not running for reelection. And he would talk about withdrawing troups if he was interested in merely pleasing the masses as the wind blows every day. The purpose WAS to inform us, since so many people have opinions based on hatred of the man, rather than a reasonable approach to a very difficult and complicated situation.

At least Georgie put some thought into the speech and wrote down the lies first. He is not good at reading a teleprompter-it also made him look like a mannequin.

Two thirds of this country disapproave of what this goofball is doing or has done, why make the majority listen to him during a great movie-even if it is played 20 times a season?

Try explaining to a child who had his heart set on the movie coming on that the president must interrupt the show to apologize to the 2100+ families that have lost loved ones during a holiday season that all is OK even though he did not do his homework before attacking the wrong country.

At least ESPN had football on.

The last time I check you can download the speach on most of the news websites. CNN, Fox, MSNBC all have the transcript. So it isn't that hard to read the President's own words.
