Safflower and DH to the cruise. so glad ya'll are joining us. We are going to have sooooooo much fun. I can't eat, drink, smoke or stay up past 9..............................but this is going to be one GREAT cruise!!!

Okay good news: I finally got clearance to go back to work! Yay! I'm the worst person on sick leave ever. I can't sit still. Bad news? Found out the reason why I had pancreatitis- at 32 I have high-ish cholesterol. Boo. So low amounts of bacon for me.

glad you are well enough to return to work, but sorry about the cholesterol. That stinks. I don't eat much bacon anymore, but omg it's good stuff!

That's sometimes the best option. I'm looking at the times too and sometimes the flights I want are too expensive. I figure I'll keep checking until they drop.

Yuck! I've been looking at prices for a while. My biggest problem is getting later flights for a reasonable amount. We can fly out if Fresno at 6 am but that puts us in San Diego WAY early. Then coming back, the affordable flights are at 6am but the early afternoon flights are considerably more.

Yuck! I've been looking at prices for a while. My biggest problem is getting later flights for a reasonable amount. We can fly out if Fresno at 6 am but that puts us in San Diego WAY early. Then coming back, the affordable flights are at 6am but the early afternoon flights are considerably more.

Couldn't you sit at like a Denny's/coffee shop for a couple hours? How long is that flight if you don't mind me asking? I know the flight from Sea-Tac to LAX is like 3 hour (2.75ish), so I'm thinking it has to be shy of an hour right?

And I was feeling sorry for myself thinking we had a total of almost 8 hours in the air kerstfan1. We have one stop in Dulles for about a 1 hour layover. But an 18 hour flight......................................

It's about an hour to LAX the I'll change to a prop plane from LAX to SAN. So total of about three hours. We arrive at about 9-9:30am. I can literally walk from SAN to the port but since Laura is with me, she'll never go for that so it'll be about a $10 cab and five minutes to the port. There's probably a coffee shop at the airport to hang out at. I'll just have to babysit out luggage until time to go.

Coming home will be nice. Because I plan on buying Disney transfers from port to MCO and so luggage will be taken care of for me.
