We have our one way plane fare booked and paid for. Next and last thing I need to do is setup a car rental for our trip from Port Canaveral to home after we get to Florida. Oh yeah, almost forgot got, need to ask one of our spoiled brats
, ( did I say that out loud??!!!?!?) I mean, one of our darling children to drive us over to the airport for the flight out to California. After those two things are scheduled I believe we are all set.
I ordered a special Christmas gift for DW about 10 more like 12 days ago. Something she, and me too, have wanted for a while now. It was suppose to have shipped a few days ago. I kept checking the manufacturers website, and it kept saying it was in fulfillment. So I called and got the run around by the customer service person I was talking to on the phone. Didn't like his answer at all. So, I waited like he said to do, and again nothing. Noticed that the charge on my credit card, on my banks website, which always said the transaction was pending, dropped off. So I called the bank and they told me that the merchant didn't follow thru to complete the transaction, so the bank removed the pending transaction from my credit card. So yesterday, I called manufacturer again. Got a different customer service representative this time who was very helpful. He put me on hold while he called the production department. Came back on to me and said that he told the manager I had called twice now and that my order would be shipping today, (yesterday). And it did. It is to arrive next Tuesday. So.................fellow shoppers out there in internet land, I guess it's like the old saying goes, "It's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease!!!" I must have squeaked pretty loud.
