So I woke up to 2 amazing emails!

The first one from The Roots, oh how I love them! They are free on my wedding date, and are quite happy to come back to Disney! Yay!

Second one was from Michelle. She said that on June 1st Disney changed their policy "We changed our booking guidelines on June 1st to allow our couples to sign their contracts before 8 months"! How did I not know this!! I was thrilled! I was prepared to wait til 8 months out, so this was a wonderful surprise!

Sorry, I just had to share with people who would understand!

It is exciting news!!! Disney changing the rules=FANTASTIC! However that does not happen often...and we better not get use to that-there are hardly any bending the rules on property But this does require a

I just spoke with my consultant today and she said they are allowing people to sign contracts 16 months out now, but I'm assuming that depends on what your location is.

Escape Weddings
Pencilled in at 12 months, booked at 8 months

Wishes Weddings
If your reception will be held in a theme park, at Ariel's, or at Atlantic Dance Hall, you can be pencilled in whenever and booked at 16 months. Sometimes you can book even earlier than 16 months for these venues...

If your reception will take place at any other venue (i.e., in a convention center), you can be pencilled in at 16 months and booked at 12 months.
