you could take an afternoon break from epcot - hop on the monorail, then walk from the TTC to the poly (a five minute walk)...or take the monorail from the TTC, but it's faster to just walk ..

Oh as a side note I recently went on a family cruise with my husbands family and we all had lime green shirts describing our relationship to my hubbys father. We were the talk of the ship! It'd be funny to do that again for this!

i've been trying to come up with something clever to put on the shirts i'm having made for my little group's trip - there are six of us - DH and me, and our two married children and their spouses....the two young couples will be on their honeymoon at disney (with us tagging along)..

i'm sure a clever person could come up with something amusing - unfortunately, i'm neither clever nor creative....

by the way, i'm the only one of the group that will be at the meet for sure.....not because the rest of the family is dissing the disers, but they can't come - otherwise they'd certainly be there just to see how insane i really am! )

as for what's planned.....
i haven't planned anything....i'm basically the meet facilitator (meaning, i was the fool who asked if there was already a meet scheduled )..
so i've been keeping the list of who's coming...

basically it's just a meet and greet sort of thing....
i've only been at two dismeets, but that's what both were...
people showed up, chit-chated with other people...
sounds boring, but it was really a lot of fun just meeting other mouseworshippers

also , people come and go - you don't have to be there the whole time..
people pop in for a few minutes or the whole time....whatever works for them..

at the first meet i was at last year, i stayed the entire time and then watched the parade and fireworks with other disers i'd just met for the first time at the meet - very fun!!
and at the second meet i was at last year, i could only stay about a half hour - i had to get back to my conference.....i would have liked to stay longer, but it was fun even for the half hour!

Just completed my online check-in. So excited. This is my best friend's second time to disneyworld and I think she has been bitten by the Disney bug bad. She can not even sleep and calls me several times a day. We are looking forward to seeing you all on the 27th.

We leave in 10 days!!!
I was absent from the boards for a few wks and am now back...my 17yr son left for Marine boot camp 2 days ago so I was getting him ready...spending time with him...I'm a lil sad he won't be with us this trip but the funny thing is he graduates Nov 4 and has planned a trip for him & his friends nov 6-10...

I have read the whole tread again and many ppl have said they can't make it they will be at Epcot or have ADRs for 6 something....so do we and this is our last day...I couldn't pass up a time to see Kathy & Teresa again...T I will try not to make you cry but will update you on my son in boot camp....
