Wonder who's on the 10/2/03 Wonder?

We dress up.

How many times at home do you get the chance to go out and have a special dinner dresssed up and leave with out having a bill to pay at the end of dinner?:)

I love getting dressed up for the evening on the ship.

Triton's is so nice. We feel so special when we eat there.

OK, there's got to be more people on this cruise than I am aware of. If you are sailing on the 3 night cruise October 2, 2003, please come out of the closet and sign in! We'd love to meet you.

My party will be me and DS (almost 4) from Upstate SC,
Brother, Mom and Dad from STL. We've got two rooms.

Anyone else?

I'm new at this but wanted to let you know four more will be on the Oct. 2 cruise. We are so excited for our kids 5 and 3 and us too. Lots of great info from all the posts, thanks. We had a Cat. 11 and got moved up to I believe a Cat. 8. Our first time on DCL. Have been on a carnival about 7 years ago.

Welcome sayahh!

I figured more people would be looking for information as we get closer to the cruise date! I know the kids are going to be thrilled. I can't wait to see the look on my son's face. So far, I have shown him pictures, but he seems unmoved. I know his eyes will bug out when he actually sees the boat in person though. Are yours boys, girls or one of each? My son will be in between the ages of your kids I think. It's great to know that there will be lots of other little kids his age (not that it's a surprise considering it's a Disney cruise.)

We'll have to set up a DISmeet when it gets closer to the date! Only about a month left!

Both are girls, I'm in trouble. We are also going to Disney World before the cruise so they will be overwhelmed I'm sure. This will be my oldest 3rd trip to disney, second time for the little one. Is this your first Disney Cruise?

Have to let me know what the Dismeet is, LOL. I just found this a few days ago and I'm clueless but learning.

Ok I know this is silly but I have to ask .........
Does anyone know if they have Coffe-Mate creamers (especially French Vanilla) on board  .... I admit it I am addicted and just wondering if I need to carry my own lol :Pinkbounc :bounce:

TIA

Ohmigosh! 20 days left?! I have officially started the packing panic for this trip. So much to do before the trip, so much to pack and so little time!

Are any of you interested in meeting somewhere on the ship? Padre Disney, you may have to organize this one - I've never done a DisMeet before. It just sounds like it might be fun. Anyone else who has DisMeet experience, feel free to explain what it is to us newbies!

I told my 3 1/2 year old S about it on Saturday. I told him we were going on a big boat. Later on, he pointed to a sinking (smoking) ship on his Rescue Heroes (cartoon) video and asked if that was the ship we were going on!
:p I ended up showing him both the DCL cruise promo video and the Travel Channel show on Sunday. I think he's got the point now, but I still can't wait for his expression when we approach the real ship.

Now if only Hurricane Isabel stays away from Castaway Cay.

fyreworks would love to meet especially with 3yos Chase will be 4 in May :D Told dh a few weeks ago He thought I was just joking but is so excited he cant stand it :bounce: . Our docs say that we are in 2148A cat 11 deck 2. I showed Chase the TC show and he is so excited b/c he gets to swim in Mickies head lol
:Pinkbounc .

Padre I will be looking for bubbles :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Is anyone doing an Excursion in Nassau??? I finally decided on booking the room at the comfort inn for the atlantis privledges but am still a little wishy washy on it ? just wondering
On my Carnival trip I remember taking a small boat over to a place where we could snorkle and see wildlife but I dont remember the name nor do I see it listed as an excursion anywhere

just wondering
tammy :bounce:

We decided to do Atlantis on our own and not use the Disney shore excursion. I think we are mainly going to go over there and see the Dig. We'll save beach activities for CC.

Are you planning to let Chase spend time at the kids club? There are so many things to do in just 3 days. I am trying to figure out how to fit nap time in!! Tyler can almost go without naps now, but not quite. (It just means he tires out sooner.)

As far as snorkeling on Nassau, there is the Carribean Queen Snorkel Tour. Is that the one you are talking about? Acoording to the description, it's at a reef near Athol Island. I'm saving my snorkeling for CC. Also going to try parasailing there.

I'll have to add the bubbles to the packing list. We've got a whole jugful at home!

Don't know about the Coffee Mate Creamers. Have to admit that is good stuff!

We like to stand on deck 10 starboard side (side facing the terminal) right above the Goofey pool for the sail away party. We arrive right after the safety drill and watch everyone below at the party. We blow bubbles and wave to everyone on the shore and at the terminal. :bounce: We have the little bottle of bubbles you get for weddings. They don't take up much room.
I will have on something lime green.
We are people watchers and like being able to watch the sailaway party from a distance. (deck 10)
Deck 9 gets very crowded and it is hard to get around.

Fyreworks:

If he wants to go he can He just started pre-school last week and seems to be doing great with structured activities so I guess it will be up to him. lol Nap time what is that   Chase goes from first thing in the morning till 9 at night..... hasnt taken a nap since we took his "NUK" away before his 2nd b-day. Sometime I miss those days lol :o

I am not sure I do remember they had some time of space ship looking thing that you walked out to via a small pier and it had windows looking under the water for those who didnt want to get in the water.. they had turtles and stuff I probably need to look back at my scrap book it was pretty neat
tammy

PD -well if you don't mind us crashing your party, that sounds like an excellent place to meet. Less crowded = more likely to find each other. I will make sure I wear my lime green shirt as well!
Is there anything else about the meet that we need to discuss besides what everyone is wearing so we can identify each other?

Tammy - I "cherish" Tyler's naptimes! That's when I get my stuff done (packing for the trip etc.) I can't imagine if he had given it up any sooner. The daycare still makes him take a 2 hr nap every day. He's definitely starting to fight it now at home (with no peer pressure) but I notice a very cranky streak around 5-7 if he doesn't get one.

I didn't know you were a scrapbooker. Me too! Although I am already so far behind on Tyler's pictures that this trip will put me even further in the hole! (I think I'm working on Tyler's 8 month pics now - and he's almost 4. Thankfully I let up on the picture taking a little bit as he got older. But it's hard to resist the baby pics.)

ok lol...... Well ......I'll try for somethin green myself lol :bounce:
I Had a hard time with the nap thing the first week. It was very frustrating especially since I so looked forward to my time , but I quickly figured out that once I learned not to expect the nap it was much easier on me and him lol now I actually hate to see him fall asleep b/c that means he will not want to go to sleep at night  he is a very good sleeper that is one thing

ok green shirt above the goofy pool will try and make it :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

and btw did not mean to mislead I am not a scrapbooker not to say I have not tried lol just dont have the patience but the die cuts that I found are very cute and appropriate for the cruise
I would love to add a pic of it but for the life of me i cant figure out how to do it
if anyone know plmk
tammy

Tammy,

First you have to take a picture of the die cut or scan it in. Once it is in digital format, use the instructions from the technical support board or the FAQs. I believe you have to upload your picture to some website and go from there. I don't know if there is an easier way or not.

As soon as I opened my eyes today I couldn't help but get excited. Two weeks from today we leave for our cruise.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Have to pack for the wedding and the cruise all at the same time. Only have about a week left to get everything ready.

PD,

I too am excited but stressed at the same time. I've got so much stuff to do before the trip that I am really going to have to work hard to get everything done! I just hope I don't forget to pack the essential documents I need (cruise tickets, passports etc!)

Less than 2 weeks to go!!!!
