okay, got it printed out. Looks great. Are we laminating or what to put it on our doors?

I've laminated the ones I've printed so far. It makes them easier to pack as they won't get scrunched up.

I also wanted to know if there is anyone in our group that will be cruising solo with their children. "DH" and I just separated and I wondered if there is anyone in the same boat, pardon the pun or divorced.

Using printable magnet sheets (craft store) works great-just run it through your printer!

By the way, DH waits till a month before to start asking questions but he wanted me to throw this out there. He is wanting to know if there are any fellow firefighters or friends of firefighters that would be interested in doing a swap of patches. He is trying to get a rough idea so that he can get enough patches from the Chief ( for some reason they are treated like gold around his station).

Funny. My husband is NYPD and I remember wanting to kill him when we went to London because he had to stop every five feet to talk to every Bobby he encountered. I remember tapping my foot repeatedly outside of Windsor Castle while he exchanged patches with his new law enforcement friends and I anxiously waited to go to lunch. I guess cops are into this patch exchange thing too!

Received both our DME luggage tags and vouchers and yesterday we received our WDW luggage tags and all of our other vouchers for our pre-cruise trip stay at the Polynesian.

It is getting very close!!!!

I found this cute magnet frame at Rite Aide....just slip your own picture in them and you are standing next to Lightening McQueen or Hannah Montana. I bought one for each of my kids. I found Disney sand toys on clearance at the Disney Store for $5 a piece. I bought three sets, because our niece is on this cruise too. I plan on shipping them down two weeks prior so I don't have to lug them around in my suitcase.

Other than that, I have done nothing! Only now is my family asking questions about what there is to do on the ship. Where were they a year ago when I was planning this thing??? I plan on giving them each a copy of a 4 day navigator I downloaded and then answering all of their questions at one time.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Any time we go anywhere we have to stop at ever fire station we see just so he can see their trucks. I mean really aren't all fire trucks the same? Just kidding I am very proud of what they do because it takes very special people to be in the emergency service fields but then again I can only wait for so long.

Should be getting a document packet and luggage tags for the cruise soon. The documents can all be done online now so those don't really excite me all that much, but...... I can't wait to get the luggage tags! For some reason THAT makes me excited!

Are you doing 4 FEs still? From what I could match up on the list there's only two cabins listed for you all?

Also, you may want to make sure to go by the list. We found our cruise on another message board and they have an exchange list too. So our FEs probably won't be the only ones out there!

We are only doing the two listed staterooms for this exchange. The other two we are doing just with the family. So only plan on the two listed 7505 and 7507.

Go to www.ups.com. On the top, click on Tracking. Then click on "tracking by reference" on the upper left side of the screen. Your shipping reference number is your DCL confirmation number. Type that in. Add destination country (for me, United States) and your zip code. If your stuff has been shipped, it will pop up. You will see when it was sent and when it is due to arrive at your door.

Our DCL package is due to arrive on 9/23!

Ours and Heather's (knitter) are sitting in Des Moines but not scheduled for delivery until 9/22. I am hoping that since they are are sitting at the hub we get them tomorrow. Mom's were last scanned in Louisville on 9/18 and nothing yet on Grandma's Is that normal that they would send out some but not others?
