Wonder, Waves and Wishes. 18th October 2009. Remembering the waves!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let u all know to please remove us from the FE and stuff, we decided to cancel and save some money and do a cheap carnival cruise instead. I'm up for a change and it was under $1000 bucks so ya can't beat it. Hope everyone of you have a wonderful and safe trip. :)

Take care,
Christa

Bye Christa! We'll miss meeting ya!

And the nice ladies at the post office said 4 weeks. So, I'm hoping! I was feelin' naked walking out of there and leaving my birth certificate- do they know how vulnerable that makes me feel?!? Have they ever had to replace ID before? :rotfl2:

We will be cruising as well on this date, land package before. We are traveling with out 2 daughters ages 13 and 9. My 9 year old is very outgoing and cannot wait to do things with other kids. My 13 year old is more on the shy side and I am hoping that she will do some of the activities for her age group. Any suggestions? Anyone else traveling with a teenager?? Do you know if alot of teens are on these ships and what activities they may have for them? This is our second trip to DW but first for our kids on the cruise. We have been on several cruises with RCCL and the kids have been bugging for years so we figured this was a great first cruise for them.

Thanks! :)

I finally finished reading all 28 pages! *phew*

I'm so in for the FE! :) Can we just use a cute Disney bag...? haha

Does anyone know if the boat has anything special because of it being so close to Halloween?

Welcome!! I have a DD11, but I hear that they have a great place and activities for teenagers.

Hmm, I just noticed we weren't on the page 1 roll call. Could we please get added?

Thanks!

We are just getting toooo excited! We are booked for Thur-Sun at a Marriott near Lake Buena Vista. We are doing MNSSHP and I'm hoping to get into a dinner beforehand. Then maybe an epcot day and then maybe a DTD day! I'm sure DS5 would L-O-V-E T Rex Cafe, but I'm not really keeping my fingers crossed that we're going to get in there. Every time I check online, it seems to be fully booked - so I'm nervous about it. We're still a week and half out from booking ADRs!

Anyway, I'm excited because someone posted a pik from the porthole of my room on the main board! It's a "secret porthole" room and I was happy to see there was really very little obstruction and we will be able to see the ocean quite well. Woo Hoo!

Any thoughts/ideas of games or things I can play or crafts I can do with a 5 and 7 y/o to get them as excited as DH and I are? :cool1:

I know that I should be more excited, but I'm so swamped with everything else that I'm falling behind on what I need to do to get ready! I've still to book our hotel room for the night before, purchase our MNSSHP tickets, try to get a ressie at the T-Rex Cafe, make our cruise tees, ... AAAHHHH!!

I'm feeling so overwhelmed that I wanna hide my head under my pillow. Help!

We are finally Paid in Full, Air fare is booked, passports are sitting the safe ready to go...:cheer2:

Now the fun begins... Finishing the FE gifts, shopping and booking the excursions.

I'm beginning to think I won't get everything done in time.

Yikes! I forgot all about the passports! Silly me.

Can you use school photos for passports for the kids? I've tons of them and would love to save the few $$ on "official" photos if I could.

It cost me about $7.50 at Walgreens for two photos.

I don't think you can because they have to be a certain size and on a white back ground. Z's school pictures always have the dreaded gray/blue background. We has ours done at Walgreens also and the technician had to redo my sons because he couldn't get his head centered in the circle.

I did read a post a long time ago about programs that you could download and just use a white background and a digital camera to take the picture. Maybe Walgreen's will have their two for one sale on the passport pictures.
