We are trying to figure out which location is better. We need to keep in mind the noise from deck 9. Has anyone stayed is these rooms or rooms close by? Thanks

I have not stayed in either of those cabins, but have stayed in different cabins on deck 8 on every cruise we've been on. If deck 9 noise is a real concern, you are better off staying almost all the way forward. The quietest cabin we have ever had was 8508, which is under the hair salon. We never heard a thing from deck 9 all week. All of the cabins that are forward of the forward elevators are under the spa area, so they should be quiet. We have heard deck 9 noise in every other cabin we have stayed in, some worse than others, especially early in the morning when they are setting up for the day.

I agree! We were in 8014 and heard nothing, ever. We were forward of the forward elevators.

We were in 8560 for 15 nights through the panama canal and loved it. We never heard any noise from above which we have in other category 4's. That was on the magic though.

We just got off a 3 day and were in 8062. There was 5 of us in the room of which was 3 kids ages 2, 8, and 10. This room was perfect for us. The only noise I heard was the briefly during the clean up on pirate night but it did not last long and was not loud at all. The rest of the trip was quiet, my 2 yr old napped throughout parts of the day so we were in our room more then most people and didn't hear any noise. The other reason I really liked this room was that it was between the mid and aft elevators. The aft was helpful because it was one floor down from the soda machines (quick walk for the kids) and the mid elevators let right down to the kids club so it was also easy for the kids to go by themselves. Enjoy your trip!!
