We woke up as we sailed into Nassau, had breakfast on the balcony. Headed to shore around 10am. Did a self guided walking tour. We headed in the direction of Fort Fincastle. Stopped at the Parliment Buildings, old jail now a library, the post office. Made it to the fort, walked around and stopped at some vendors. I noticed a small restaurant/bar near the fort and being a good Canadian boy I stopped in for a ice cold Bahamian beer. The people were very friendly inside and we discussed our mutual Brtitish Heritage.
From the fort we headed over to the Queens Staircase which was very impressive. Next we headed to Gregorys Arch and then to the Pirates Museum which we really liked. Stopped at the straw market, bought a few trinkets. Bought a rumcake at Tortugas outlet. Icecream at a grocery store and some beer at a liquor store. Headed back to the ship around 3pm.
Had dinner that night at Tritons, another great meal. Went to the Golden Mickeys, Great show.

How long would you say to allow for the Pirate Museum? We were thinking about going while we're in Nassau. thanks.

60 to 90 mins. There is a courtyard were you can sit and have a break at the end of the visit. Also a gift shop, bar and restaurant.
