Wonder - January 21, 2011 The Cruise To Nowhere In Particular..

Here is nothing really new in the docs. Nothing about entertainment, pirate nights, fireworks, etc)

The only thing I noticed was on Sunday, it says disembarkation begins at 9:30 AM. I thought normally you have to be OFF the ship by 9:00-9:30 and it starts much early.

However, I don't recall what it the cruise docs normally say. My one 4 night, we left about 8:00 AM.

Yeah, we had to change it. My employer began toying with the idea of cancelling all vacations during the first week of October. This made all of my co-workers worried and they cancelled and rebooked for 2012 on the Fantasy. Since I really wanted to go on a vacation next year (that and I had it paid off) I decided to go on the cruise that I really wanted to go on. I've been drooling over that Disney Dream for a long time!

Our Cruise Docs came in today via USPS!!!!!

Ours came USPS.

Interesting that people are getting rooms... We left my husband off the ressie and I have been on the wait list for months trying to get him on the cruise with us and have not been notified that a spot opened up!
*** He wasn't sure if he could make it so I booked without him and then it sold out so quickly that I could not get him on!!

That is such a bummer! He should definitely receive preference. Keep calling DCL. Daily! Good luck!

ps...wonder if it is a lifboat issue? I've heard here that some rooms are not allowed their max # of passengers because the lifeboats in that station may be full.

Essentially, they'll hold at least two places per room. Let's say that a room has 4 people booked into it and the reservation is dropped, then the next purchasers of that room have only 2 people, then 2 people are allowed to be added elsewhere. However, if the new purchaser has 4 people then it's a wash.

Somehow I missed where and how to send you the money..I am sorry - please let me know. I just realized..when do you think you will have them mailed? Or can I get them on the ship..I leave in 3 weeks. I am sorry! My brain checked out weeks ago..

I am stunned that I was able to pick up an inside cabin on Thursday of last week! Can't believe my good fortune.

My DH and I can't wait to get back on the Wonder...especially without kids this time! We are bringing a friend of ours who we have completely converted into a Disney Lover.

Told both of them to sleep now, because we aren't wasting a minute onboard sleeping! Okay...maybe we'll sleep a little. We're kinda old and need our rest...

Any word of what shows will be performed and/or how the dining rotation will work?

I am guessing it was Sept. It was whenever everyone started posting that they were sold out - I knew then that I messed up and needed to add him so I called once a week for a while and then they said they would put me on a wait list and call me when a spot opened up. It will be OK, he is not willing to pay inflated prices! We got such a great deal.

My payment is going out tomorrow....I ordered 4. I can't thank you enough Joy for doing this for us! I'll probably throw in another $5 in case you have any left over. I have DCL stuff all over my home in the drawers, on bulletin boards, etc. I still have DCL matches (unused) in my guest bathroom in between shells from Castaway Cay lol

My daughter collects these bracelets.

I am checking 3-4x day and I see nothing ever. Was it just luck that you happened to see these or are you looking on some other site (not Disney?).
