Wonder Alaska Cruise 9/2/2013

I'm Linda, aka "Grandma Linda", traveling with my husband Bruce and our two teddy bears, OC & Dimples. We're taking the train across Canada to get to the cruise, and pretty excited about it. It will be the teddies' first train trip, although they've been on many cruises.

Beth, thinking of you! Hope you have survived the hurricane safe and sound.

Just back from the 2nd Hawaii cruise. Booked this and the repo to LA while on board. My son wanted to celebrate on the Disney Wonder for his next birthday. Although an Alaskan cruise would not be my first choice, since I live in the north, it is very beautiful up here. Look forward to meeting you all.

Just back from the 2nd Hawaii cruise. Booked this and the repo to LA while on board. My son wanted to celebrate on the Disney Wonder for his next birthday. Although an Alaskan cruise would not be my first choice, since I live in the north, it is very beautiful up here. Look forward to meeting you all.

Well their are 4 adults going to alaska sept 2 from pa my mom my dad me and my brother he likes art i like bears dad and mom like evwrything especially jewelry loved the hawaii cruise even had santa on board

Look forward to meeting you too Janice. We booked while on board last year's December 10 cruise we had the best time so we decided to go again but this time we are bringing my mum. Tecomagirl! I'm not sure if she has said hi yet!

Thanks! I'm alive and well and back at work. No damage to my house, although we survived 10 days with no power. DH and I made one discovery during that time...we're just much too old for candlelight dinners every night. We can't see the food LOL!!!

We're so much luckier than my three office mates. One lost his house, one lost three cars and everything in his basement, and the third is still trying to figure out what she lost because she can't get into her basement until the water goes down. I'll take the "powerless life" any day.

Beth, so glad that you survived relatively unscathed. So sad for your office mates though.

Our news is this - unfortunately, due to personal reasons, DH & I have decided to move our cruise to the May 27th sailing. We're very sad that we won't get to meet you all, but switching had to be done (a bonus is we got a better room location!). Maybe we'll meet on a future cruise!

Hi everyone, we're planning to do this cruise, followed by the cruise to Los Angeles. It will be our 5th. DCL cruise, and we're from Belgium. It will be me, my DW and DD who will be 18 then. We still have to figure out flights etc..., since before the cruise we want to visit relatives who live near Chicago...

Relatively easy to get from Chicago to Seattle, on Southwest (bags fly free) and then take the train to Vancouver.
