We will be sailing on the Wonder, 4 nights, out of Port Canavral (with stops in Nassau and Castaway) March 11 next year. We are beyond excited for our first Disney experience!!!!

If you have done this cruise, do you mind answering some questions?

1) the Disney jr breakfasts: do any Disney jr characters attend? (If so, who?)
2) Disney jr pirates and princesses dance party: again, do any characters attend? (If so, who?)
3) outside of the ticked meet and greets can the princesses be found anywhere on the ship? I know Anna and Elsa no but I was wondering about the other princesses. As its our first cruise I am worried I won't be able to get princess m+g tix which will break my princess loving daughter's heart. If I know we can also see them around the ship I won't be as worried.

I've checked old navigators and it doesn't mention Disney jr characters on board or any princess meets.

Many thanks!!

1) The character breakfasts are only on cruises of 7 nights and longer, so your 4 night cruise won't have one.
2) I haven't heard the Pirates & Princess dance. Where did you see it?
3) What characters are available for the "regular" meet & greets varies. You can see on the Navigator what character, when and where they are going to be. There's a section on the Navigator each day called Character Appearances.

There is a Disney junior Pirate and Princess Party, usually in D lounge, and it used to be under character appearances so I guess characters attend, I've never been though, but as its Disney Junior I'd guess that it would be Jake and Sophia, as (in the past) they're the only DJ characters onboard, along with McStuffins...
However, your cruise is still a while (and at least one potentially 2, cast change overs) away. The wonder got a DJ room in her dry dock so there maybe more DJ stuff once onboard (I know they added doc MS, Lion Guard and Roadster Racers programmes in the club).

As for the princesses, whoever's at the gathering should also appear separately during the cruise too, you just won't get the opportunity to tick them all off at once if you don't go the the princess gathering.

The recent navigators show "Wake Up with Disney Junior". Maybe not a breakfast. It is in the D lounge. Curious about what it is.

Then there is a Pirates and Princesses Dance Party in the D Lounge as well.

As for additional chances to meet the princesses, I have read about people randomly running into princesses.(outside of what's listed in the Navigator) I am hoping that might be s possibility on the shorter cruises.

We just did a 3 night sailing on the Wonder this past March and really enjoyed it! You will definitely see the princess out at other times but I doubt you will have issues getting the meet and greet tickets. With it being the off season for Bahama sailings I think you'll find most things pretty easy to book-at least on our sailing it didn't appear anyone had issues :) And if it helps your feelings a bit we ran in Cinderella many times just walking around the ship so yes it is possible! We watched her do her best to cheer up a little girl that was crying in the hall near the kid's club one evening. Oh and you will see Tiana in her restaurant as well! Get there as early as you can and you will more than likely have a few minutes with her as she is walking around while everyone arrives for dinner. She stopped to talk with my son and I was able to get a photo of them together then.

We were on the Wonder 3 years ago. The first night as we were walking to our cabin we saw Rapunzel. She sat down with my dd and talked with her for a good 5 mins. As we left we ran into Tiana. She also sat down with my dd and talked to her. I didn't know if they needed to be somewhere and had told my dd to say good-bye after about 1 min of talking to them. They both said they didn't need to be anywhere soon and let my dd ask them lots of questions. They were so kind. My dd is now 9 yrs old and isn't into princesses anymore, but still talks about this whenever we go on cruises.

Wake Up with Disney Junior is a little get together where they dance and show off their energy with (I think) watching a clip or two. On the classics its in Promenade Lounge, Dream class D Lounge. Not even close to a breakfast, just a fun morning wake-up

We did the 4 night Wonder from PC in April...

The Wake Up with Disney Jr event was mostly a CM leading some songs. Princess Sophia came out at the end. There are one or two more, so characters could vary. We were disappointed as the one we went to on the Dream previously had several characters. We did see some of the Jr characters in the kids clubs.

We had no trouble getting tickets for the M&G. We booked early, but they released more a few days before we sailed. We didn't happen upon any other characters this past trip, but we have before. Plenty of other opportunities if you don't mind waiting in line.
