Wonder 4 nights 3-12-2014 Fish Extender Group

Welcome to the Fish Extender Exchange for the March 12th Wonder 4 night Bahamian Cruise!

For those who are new to this idea, a Fish Extender (FE) itself is a pocket panel/bag you hang from the fish shaped hook outside your stateroom. Families that join the FE group hang their Fish Extender outside their cabin and then, as the cruise is underway, participants deliver little gifts to the others participating in the group by leaving them as a surprise in the fish extender pockets.

As far as the gifts... you can either give a larger general gift to each cabin, or smaller individual gifts to each person in the cabin. You can give gifts a few times throughout the cruise or just once. It is the thought that counts. There are no true rules regarding gifts (no minimum or maximum dollar value). Gifts can be homemade or store-bought, Disney, non-Disney, it is completely up to you! The point is to have fun and share some magic.

I will start a master list once the group begins to grow! The group will close on January 31st so that everyone has enough time to prepare!

We are looking forward to participating in this exchange and can't wait to set sail!

For each FE to be hung:

Cabin ## (if you know it, it can be updated later)
Names of all participants including ages and genders of children
Any Allergies or Concerns
Any Celebrations

We will be on this cruise also. Traveling with my husband, 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter. I am not sure that we will participate in the fish extender...but wanted to say hello.

I looked for the Facebook Group to join, but couldn't find it when I searched under the name listed. Looking forward to a fun cruise!

Odd, i don't believe You are doing anything wrong?? It is a closed group that you must ask to join, but when I had my sister try it this afternoon, she found it easily? I am sorry I am not more technologically advanced, and cannot offer more insight. Another couple was able to join, let me ask them if they have any tips or suggestions...

As of now, there is only one other family in the group- so, you aren't missing anything yet

Hello again....I was hoping that this group would start to expand since we are getting closer! I have cruised before with other lines, but this is my first Disney cruise. Have been reading up on FE's and am really hoping to have a group, even if it is a small one, as I think it would be a lot of fun to do with my nieces. I am going to be optimistic and go ahead and make a FE. Would love to start gifts as well. Is it possible to get names of those that definitely plan to participate to get a jump start? Thanks!!

By the way, I have also tried again a few times to find the Facebook group, but with no luck!

Hi, joining March 12 the roll call! This will be our first family cruise! We surprised DD8 and DS6 for Christmas, and the excitement is off the charts!

I'm trying to travel as light as possible, so we will sit out the FE exchange. I'm up for any other meets or activities, so keep me in the loop.

Welcome aboard.....glad you are joining our fish exchange! We are on the same floor as you, so delivery will be easy for us! This will be a new experience for me, as I have cruised with friends on other lines, but never on a Disney cruise -- and never with kids. FE's are new to me, but I'm looking forward to it and think it will be a fun addition to our trip!
