Wonder 10/18/15 West Coast Baja Mexico!

Prices did go up sometime during the day today (between 6AM Phoenix time and 1:44P Phoenix time)! My 5B is now up $693.72

hey everyone! We actually booked last week but had to wait to make it official until DCL transferred some things around (a LONG time on hold, multiple calls lol). All figured out now though so we are in!

This will be our 4th cruise on DCL and our previous 3 cruises were on the Wonder too! We sailed in 2010, 2011 and 2012. 2 of those cruises were on the MR so Cabo isn't new to us (we have done it FOUR times now cause both times were double dips to that port!) but Ensenda is:)

Looking forward to San Diego pre cruise and Disneyland (AP holders) after!

It will be (ages times of cruising)
Jess, 34
my husband Matt, 34
my son Aidan, 14
my daughter Piper, 10

We are in a Cat T stateroom (one bedroom suite).

Please add us to the roster!

Hello everyone!

We are also booked and really excited for this cruise. My name is Alex and I will be 28 at the time of the cruise along with my husband Steven (28) and my mother Sherri. This will be my husband's and I second Disney cruise. Our first Disney cruise was our part of our honeymoon it was the 3-day Bahamian cruise in 2013. This will be my mom's first cruise. We live in Phoenix and plan on driving over and possibly spending the day before at Disneyland! (we are AP's)

This is my first time posting to the boards, so bear with me as I try to learn all of the new lingo. Also where does everyone get those cute countdowns?

We just booked this cruise to sail with Pam and Jenny! There are two of us and I'll just leave it at "we're older", but like a fine wine, improve with age! :rotfl2:

I'm Alison and my partner is Fran. We come from Long Beach CA. This will be our 8th Disney Cruise and our sixth cruise on the Wonder. We will sign up for the FE and I'll check out the FB group. I hope the FE stays on the DIS because it's so hard to follow on FB. There are so many different conversations, I don't always click on all the comments. At least on the DIS there is only one thread.

Very cool! :thumbsup2 Wasn't our weather amazing? That CC is something else. :cloud9:

Check your cruise fares. Wow, am I glad I booked early. My 5C has increased a total of $870 and my 7A is showing a $660 increase. :scared1:

I agree - the weather was just perfect the whole week. Let's hope for a repeat next year!

Our Category 7A stateroom is up $750 since we booked. If you include our OBB discount, it's almost $1,000! Looks like these Mexican cruises are going to be very popular.

I think so too. I cannot believe how much all the cabins have increased. I'm not including my 10%, if I do our 5C has increased $1,112. :scared: We didn't get 10% off our 7A.

Good times girl! :thumbsup2

:welcome: Welcome to the DISboards! :welcome:

And welcome to the cruise from another Phoenician (or Zonie as our CA friends sometimes call us).

.

Here is one of the countdown sites lots of Disney people use:

http://www.**************/

If you see a different kind in someone's signature, just click on it and it should take you to the appropriate site to build your own.

I've been putting off doing one since it is SO FAR OFF.....

Thanks I found one!!

Help, I need hotel ideas who live in or have been to San Diego. We are flying Saturday, and staying 2 days after so we can visit San Diego, then we will spend 2 days in Disneyland. We would like a waterfront, moderately priced, and a good rating, but not too far out. Any suggestions? thanks in advanced.
Plus has anyone saw that the prices for our cruise has almost doubled in price.

Finding a moderately priced waterfront hotel in San Diego is almost like an oxymoron. It's a huge travel destination and the hotels know it. Coupled with large events that come to town (Comicon, Gay Pride and other conventions) those factors keep hotel prices inflated.

We usually stay on Hotel Circle. It's not on the waterfront, but there are enough hotels there that it keeps competition high and prices somewhat lower. It's also right off the 8 and the 163 which puts you close to virtually everything. Plus Olde Town is right around the corner and we love Mexican food which is plentiful there as well as freshly made tortillas.

I just checked our 2 10Bs, price has gone up just over $1100 for both rooms. I booked with no discount. I cant believe it. This certainly makes me feel better about booking. :)

With today's increase our 5C has increased $940 total and our 7A, secret full verandah has increased $720.

Just wow. I'm never not booking on opening day again. pixiedust:

I'm not sure I could even check if the price of ours has gone up. I was checking all day for an HA stateroom and it wasnt until around 8PM that it showed up.

We have the same stateroom fir this cruise as we do on our May 2015 B2B

:thumbsup2 Same cabin is awesome! Have you sailed in it before?

This is our first Disney cruise. I have officially learned (thankfully not the hard way), to book on opening day. :)

:thumbsup2 Very smart. Our first was not booked opening day but was canceled due to a charter so Disney gave us a decent discount to rebook.

I just checked. There are no HA accessible staterooms except for inside and they are selling for almost what I paid for the Verandah stateroom. I guess that was a week ago. :confused3

So, it looks like my sister and her family are going to be joining us after all - I am so excited! Now to keep her son from spoiling the surprise for my kids...

I will sign them up for the FE and will provide them with everything they need! For the roll call they are Meghan, Jason, Lucas (7), and Alison (3), plus Jason's mother, Ming. I know they are in a family cabin, but not sure what the number is yet. They are on main dining with us.

Hopefully over the next year or so I will have time to make Alison some tiny princess dresses. Finally, a girl in the family!
