I had a wonderful pair of velcro Teva sandals which I loved but sadly needed to replace after 10 happy years. I recently purchased a pair of womens' Terra-fi Teva sandals for $75 and have worn them a few times. I don't know if it's just me, but I not really sure I like them. The arch really seems to bother my feet. I feel like the bulk of my weight is being supported by the arches of my feet instead of the heel and ball of my foot. I never understand why arches bump up so high when that is not a part of the foot that is intended to support weight. The feeling of the arches were annoying to me, as I was aware of them every step I took; normally, with comfortable shoes, I'm not thinking about my feet! After wearing them a while, my feet seemed prematurely tired, and I suspect it's because of the arch problem.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with their Tevas? In most reviews I've seen, people love their Tevas, as did I. But now I'm afraid I won't be able to wear them to WDW, the main reason I bought them. (Plus, they got dirty and I've already worn them a couple times so I don't think I can return them.)
