Stanford played to win, and they did.
Alabama eliminated.

With their 2 Ace Pitchers,Stanford is a legitimate threat to win the whole thing.

Their Freshman Pitcher just may be the best Pitcher in the World Series.

They played Oklahoma toe to toe-Oklahoma got one timely hit and that was the only difference.

(I do think that if Montana Fouts had been playing with 2 good legs,that game could have gone 0-0 for a LONG time.)

I am picking Tennessee to give the Sooners an early Welcome to the SEC and take them down!lol

It will be interesting to see how much Oklahoma slows down when they have to play SEC teams every week.

To be fair, we took a gamble on the pitching choice and lost. Alot of us were scratching our heads but oh well.

Great point-the whole "vibe" didn't feel good for Tennessee from the start.

It won't be easy but I give Tennessee a shot at taking 2 from FSU.

If they can win that first Game-it could put the pressure on FSU in Game 2.

Oklahoma and Stanford are 2-2 in the Fifth Inning right now in Game 1-FEAR THE TREE!lol

A Game 2 would make Oklahoma SWEAT!

Congratulations to Oklahoma.

I don't have to like you,but I do have to respect what you have done.

IMO,this was the greatest team in the history of Women's College Softball,Oklahoma is now the greatest Dynasty in the history of Women's College Softball and also one of the greatest Dynasties in Collegiate Sports as a whole.

Hopefully being in the SEC will bring them back to the field a bit,but I fear it will only make them even more appealing and attractive resulting in the continued signing of the best High School recruits and transfers every year.

The Oklahoma Road Show when they take on their first SEC schedule will be a sight to see-they will sell out every SEC road game they play.

It is assumed she will be coming Home to you guys and sign with the University of Nebraska.

Just absolutely shocking for Oklahoma to lose a Player of her caliber.

"Looks" like she may have just tired of being in the constant "Fish Bowl" that is Oklahoma Softball -they are mobbed everywhere they go-and also looks like severe Homesickness played a role.

Arguably the biggest name to enter the Softball Portal ever.


"My heart is full of gratitude and love for the girls, coaches, and people at the University of Oklahoma," Bahl wrote. "I am excited to return home and be Jordyn Bahl the softball player, but more importantly the person."

She is giving up A LOT to return home-a VERY good chance for a FOURPEAT and FIVEPEAT that would make her and Oklahoma forever ICONIC across ALL Sports,spending her Senior year as the Star of the first Oklahoma team to compete in the SEC which is going to be one of the biggest "events" in Women's Softball history,etc.

The transfer of Kelly Maxwell from Oklahoma State to Oklahoma(allowing Oklahoma to substantially make up for the loss of Jordy Bahl) is not going over well with the Oklahoma State Coach.

He has basically declared Kelly Maxwell persona non grata in Stillwater.

“My only disappointment for Kelly is that she went to OU, because now she’s lost everything here that she’s ever done,” OSU coach Kenny Gajewski told Oklahoma State fans last week at “A Night With OSU” in Oklahoma City, according to the paper. “And as long as I’m here, it’ll be hard for her to come back here. That’s just the way it is.”

No doubt-he is the first Coach I have seen respond to a Transfer Portal loss in Public like that.

I am sure many other Coaches have strong feelings of betrayal,etc.,but they KEEP IT TO THEMSELVES.

Man...why didn't I see this thread back in the spring!?!?! I feel like our lives revolve around softball While I'm sure many coaches have felt what Gajewski said, it's the nature of the game these days.
