woman expecting twins.

today I saw a pregnant woman..who is expecting twin girls..isn't that cool. she was just so nice I couldn't help but want to help her. I send out love, happiness and health to her.. I hope everyone see's how great she is by doing this.

So that must make Octomom....heck, I don't even have words for what that must make Octomom. Octogreat? :rotfl2:

Thank you for thinking of my DD. She went through a lot of tests today. Her temp hit 105.4

We ruled out strep, UTI (catheter was not fun) and had a chest x-ray done...it was clear. So, hopefully it is just viral. Her temp only went back up to 101 tonight.

Thanks again...
Jess

Hope it all turns out fine. How scary!!!

My friend has an identical twin sister. Does that make her special? She must be really special, actually, because she has two identical twin sisters. They are 15 years older than she is. :lmao:

My aunt's the most special. She had quints and one of the quints had twins last year.

...and I wasn't talking about this lady. I was just stating that from MY experience, twin pregnancies are tough. It's fairly routine for every twin pregnancy to come with a lot of extra monitoring.....especially if the twins are felt to be identical. I don't think most people realize, regardless of how common multiples are, that having twins is not simply being pregnant and coming home with 2 babies. I know that I didn't. I'm not saying that we are any more special. Heck, I have 3 singletons too and those pregnancies were just as special.

I found out I was having twins at 9 wks along. The story of the rest of my pregnancy could be stated as, "We'll just keep monitoring it." It was a very scary and stressful time (and of course it was wonderful too). I am so thankful that things turned out so well for my little twinkies...and I appreciated every prayer that anyone was willing to make for us. As a matter of fact, one of my girl's middle name is Faith...because that, and all the prayers/support we got, is what got us through a lot of these days.

Maybe the thread is odd...but I've seen far worse things posted than someone saying she felt moved to show support for another human being.

Jess

, I don't find your thread odd at all, You just posted on what you felt at the time. I hope that your daughter is feeling better today.:flower3:

My aunt's the most special. She had quints and one of the quints had twins last year.

That is pretty special. We have a set of quints coming into Kindergarten next year. I was checking in parents for Kindergarten round up and noticed the quints on the list, but I wasn't there when they came in. We have full day and 1/2 day and she wants full day. There's a lottery, so she's has 5 chances to get drawn and get all her kids in. She has the best odds. ;)

I think multiples are still pretty special, as are all pregnancies. I couldn't carry a baby to term, so I look at it from that perspective. I see it as not every woman can carry a baby, so it's a miracle to me.

Congrats to all pregnant women! With Mother's Day coming up, it's truly a great time to celebrate all moms.

By...having babies? :confused3

Some people are the happy type and get joy from seeing a pregnant woman, especially when there are two babies in there! And some people see pregnancy as oh well, it's just nature. I enjoyed the OPs happiness when she saw and spoke to the pregnant woman. Maybe she's looking forwared to being a mom one day.:goodvibes

This post is so random that I am wondering if it was meant as a reply to another thread. :upsidedow
