that's very sad...I wonder if she had an aneurysm.
anyone with an aneurysm is at risk on any high G force ride. Unfortunately you rarely know you have one until it pops.

I have something different, but that is also at risk of causing a brain hemorrhage if subjected to excessive forces.
So i avoid rides like Mission Space (also RNRC, TOT, etc.). But i'm aware of it because of numerous brain MRIs. Otherwise I would never have known.

I just noticed the post about the high blood pressure. I thought they warn people with high blood pressure not to ride the ride. Don't they?

There are signs outside the rides but you think you are going to be ok don't you.The woman was German so perhaps she couldn't understand the warnings. My DF had an aortic aneurysm repair last year. Luckily for us they found out about it during scans so were able to operate and at 5cm it was close.

that is very lucky that they caught it in time....
as for the woman, i didn't realize she was German...you're right she might not have understood the warnings...
i think there are additional warnings inside....the first time my son rode it, i went in line with him and then at the very end told them that i'd decided not to ride (even though i knew that from the beginning, but i wanted to go through the line with him the first time in case he chickened out)....in any case, i seem to recall that there were warnings in the line as well.....signs as well as on the tv monitors....but i might be remembering incorrectly.......

The warnings are also in the park maps, printed in many languages, including German.
