Wolgang Puck Express - Counter?

Can anyone tell me if WP Express is a counter service? I thougt it was but the prices seem expensive for counter. Thanks for any help!!

Yes it is a CS, but they serve you once you place your order at the counter. They will give you a # to put on your table, and they will bring you your food and refill your drinks. They will clean your table too. The food is plentiful and really good.

I know it's been a long time since we went there, but how long have they been brining the food to your table? I remember when you would order a Pizza or other items you would wait inisde and once your food was ready they would hand it to you and you would go and pay.

They have always brought the food to us when we have gone; we get a number to put on the table. It's cramped at the counter so they don't want you hanging around.

That has been 2 years back or so.

It is a counter service, and a very good one at that.

I have been going there for about 3-4 years and they have always brought the food to us.
OP, I really don't think the prices are high for what you get in terms of food quality and quantity. Then add the bonus of being served and it makes it even better!!

Now I'm hungry for my favorite dish there, the Spaghetti with Tomato, Basil, and Garlic and I get it with chicken added. I also think the kids pizza here is the best on property! I always steal a piece from DD!LOL

WGP Express is a CS.
Love WGP Express! I think they are the best CS in WDW and I love the Lasagna and Carrot Cake!

In past years WPE has been exluding their two most expensive entrees from the dining plan, don't know if they're still doing that.

WPE is a great counter service. My bf and I ate there twice on our last trip- we split the bbq chicken quesadilla and the 2nd time we split a bbq chicken pizza-- both were good and nice big portions.

I guess the last time we went there was before 2000 which is why I don't remember it being like that.

We love it! We go at least once each trip. Pizzas, sandwiches and mac n cheese are great and did I mention creme brulee? MMMMMmmmm.....
