Has anyone taken kids to Wolfgang Puck's at the West End?....Also how was the food if anyone has been lately??

I assume you mean the cafe and not the express. DH and I have been to WPC twice, once with the kids and once without. The food was excellent the first trip and so-so the second. However, the only constant was the noise level in the restaurant. It was loud enough that I felt completely comfortable taking the kids, including my autistic daughter. I was sure if she had a meltdown in there, no one would hear it.

ETA: First trip - December 06; Second Trip - May 07

Our family loves WGP and so do our kids! We are ADRs in Spet for two nights and the kids are coming too!

We are planning to go to WGP twice on our upcoming trip with the kids. We love DTD and love going to WGP.

When I told DH we were going he thought it was too expensive, not realizing we were on DDP. So once I told him it was on we booked it twice.

I think kids are welcome pretty much anywhere in WDW by both patrons and restaurants. However, kids that scream, cry, run around, crawl under other people's tables, and generally annoy other people are pretty much frowned upon by everyone. I'm not implying that your kids will be like this, just making a general statement

We ate there last year, DS11 and I. No issues with kids being there. I agree that the noise level was over the top....so I cannot imagine kid noise being a problem. As a matter of fact, I thought that anyone NOT there with kids was probably not happy! Plenty of food choices and the item we shared, the roasted 1/2 chicken, was so plentiful that we couldn't finish it. We really had to work to eat dessert! ;)

We love WGP Cafe. As others have mentioned, it can be very loud, but that is the only complaint I have. The food is great! The sushi is great! The desserts are fantastic! Make an ADR and enjoy!:thumbsup2
