I've never eaten at any of the WP at Downtown Disney but want to try on our next trip next year. I seem to think that all WP's at DTD do not accept the Disney Dining Plan. Is this correct or am i just mis-informed ? :confused3

The upstairs Dining Room is not on the plan. It is a "Signature Level" restaurant like Citricos, California Grill, Flying Fish and the like, but is not on the plan. The lower level (street level) is a more casual cafe with sushi, flat bread pizzas, etc. and is on the plan.

Wolfgang Puck Express is also on the Dining Plan as a Counter Service and is one of the best CS options, IMO.

We dined at the nicer dining room that is not on the plan years ago and paid out of pocket. It was just okay IMO. However, Wolfgang Puck Express is on the dining plan as a counter service. I agree with previous posters, Express has to be one of the best counter service options on the dining plan. :)

If you are looking at a dining plan brochure for 2012, there aren't any non-Disney-operated restaurants on that brochure yet. They won't be added until they renew their contracts. The usual set up with the Puck restaurants is that the two Expresses and the Cafe take the dining plan; the Upstairs Dining Room does not.
