Does anyone have a review for either of the other puck restaurants - not the express? I'd love to hear about a current review -trying to pick some new places.

Wish I could help you out, but we've never eaten there. I'd like to at least go in and look at it this year.

Would a reviews place help? It's the one I usually go to.
AllEars.net
Once your there go to the top of the page and you'll see the rate & reviews link, hit that and it will take you to many links.
Links for resorts, resort dining, as well as park dining.
Once you scroll down a little ways you'll see
WALT DISNEY WORLD DINING
below that will list the parks and below that will list Walt Disney World Resort Dining.
Click on all of these places and then they will take you to all the places you want to see for reviews, including CS.
Epcot has two pages so be sure to click on the second page to see all the restaurants.
Of course take the reviews with a grain of salt...there will always be both good and bad reviews for food. My way of knowing what to trust is....one I look at the number of people that have given reveiws, anything over a 100 I give a real look. Next anything over an 8 is an almost for sure hit, anything below to a 7 is a hit or miss. Anything below that is at your own risk, at least that's how I see it.
Also I look at the most recent reviews, if the rating is not so good, but the last six months to a year are consistently good reviews then I'm looking for more reviews on the Disboards. Also I notice the more drinks people have had, the better reviews tend to be.

I don't have a formal review, and it's been awhile, but our group of 7 really enjoyed this restaurant when we tried it (the cafe - 1TS credit). They had a wide variety of really tasty entrees and appetizers, and the key lime pie was divine. We went late on a Saturday evening, and the atmosphere was HOPPING! Seemed to be mostly adults, a trendy-feeling place, but DD (6 at the time) was not out of place. Each of the people in our group agreed that it was a success, and I don't think any of us would hesitate to dine there again. It was definitely something different! :thumbsup2

I checked the allears reviews and they are really old. I'm looking for something the last year or so, since so much of disney dining seems to have changed within the last year.

We thought the cafe was okay, not great. There were 6 of us dining together. We enjoyed the appetizers we shared but most of us were underwhelmed with the entrees we had selected.

The upstairs was not worth it. There are much better upscale dining locations at WDW than this.

I always thought the food was average to slightly above average. The best thing was the variety of entrees on the menu. everything from pizza in a woodburning oven to a sushi bar. Food for any mood or craving. :cool1::banana:

We love the express, but hated the cafe. We were just there a few weeks ago and it was the worst meal of our trip. My hubby ordered the ribs and I ordered the pumpkin ravioli. The waiter came back 1/2 way through our appetizer to tell us they were out of ribs. Since our reservations were at 5pm... I figured they had a mad rush for ribs at 4:55pm LOL. My hubby then ordered the macadamia nut chicken since there was nothing else that sounded good to him. Our meals came out and I sent mine back. I didn't like my ravs at all... they were extremely sweet. Hubby was not impressed with the chicken... it was OK, but not worth $27.00.

I never understood this restaurant. It's has the name of a famous chef but it only ever gets mediocre reviews. You'd think that Wolfgang Puck would either improve the quality or shut the places down.

We ate there in Sept, I was so full from all of the free dining that I really can't offer a review, I can say it was good. However, we did order dessert because we were on the plan. My hubby always orders Key Lime pie where ever he goes and I always get a taste of everyones dessert. Now I can take or leave Key Lime pie, but OMG that was the best pie I have ever had. So if you go and you like Key Lime at all, do yourself a favor and order it.

TRue he is famous, but I think that sometimes in La La land where his original restaurant is, the people(celebs) eat there to be seen and because it is the place to be, not because the food itself is good.

Unfortunately I will have to agree with most of the reviews here. Absolutely the worst meal of our trip!! Will never never never go back. Overpriced, small portions, mediocre service. The express however, is fantastic!!!
