Thoughts on this one? It would be lunch. We're looking for something different and the menu certainly is!

Any recommendations?

We'll be on the Disney Dining Plan. :hippie:

It's one of our favorites...just ate there a couple of weeks ago. It's almost like a sit down, but you order at a counter.

We really like the pizza, salad and pasta (chicken alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs)

DH & I did lunch last November. We split a Chicken Romaine salad & a Margherita pizza. Both were excellent. We had free DDP so we got 2 brownies and took them back to eat as a snack that evening.Since we had an adult beverage :drinking1 we each got a bottle of Dansai water to use later since it was part of the DDP. We ate there 4 times on a 5 day trip.:thumbsup2.
I'm sure on our next visit we will eat there multiple time even paying OOP.

Love WPE!! I've had the Chinois chicken salad, butternut squash soup, rotisserie turkey club, BBQ chicken pizza, and 1/2 rotisserie chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Everything there is DELICIOUS!! :goodvibes

It's all really nice there. I liked their creme brulee best of all, even compared with lots of more expensive places.

It was DH & my most un-memorable meals of our 10 day trip in May '09. It was average - no better than a TGI Friday's or Chili's (IMHO). I wouldn't NOT eat there again, I just wouldn't seek it out.

WPE is actually the one place I really look forward to eating at. The food is satisfying yet light, with an abundance of veggies. It is a nice respite from all the heavy park food. You order your food, receive a number and then someone bring you your meal. The service was excellent when we were there. You will love it! :lovestruc

I'm definitely a WPE fan and agree with the other poster who said that their food is a nice respite. I actually did a little :woohoo: when a WPE franchise opened at my local casino!

We LOVE WPE!! The salmon was out of this world, DH enjoyed his Bacon wrapped meatloaf, and the creme brulee for dessert was outstanding!

This is also our favorite CS breakfast, corn crusted french toast, breakfast pizza, and the best omlette I have ever had in my life!

Love love love!!!!! We usually stop by WPE for me to get food to eat while the 'rents and sister get Earl of Sandwich. I'm in the minority who doesn't care for Earl, so I'm always the one bringing other food along. And it's usually WPE since I have difficulty convincing the 'rents that a Ghiradelli hot fudge sundae is lunch.

Love, love, love Wolfgang Puck Express :lovestruc It is so much better than the usual burgers and pizza. The pizza there is actually good :thumbsup2 our pickiest eaters even enjoy it... my son is a spaghetti and meatballs freak, and my nephew who eats nothing (other than chicken nuggets) loves the chicken alfredo dish.
Definitely add it to your list.

We did the deluxe dining plan last time we were there... and we will do it again in a few months for our trip in December.... we ate at Wolfgang Puck's once last time, and we have 2 reservations for the next trip.

I get confused... I think there are 3 "levels" at Wolfgang's.... express, cafe, and fine dining? I'm not sure if that is the correct wording for the 3 levels. Anyway, since we were on the dining plan, we ate at the cafe and LOVED it! It was one of DH's favorite places... and we were there 10 days on the deluxe dining plan, and will be again, so we eat at a lot of restaurants! :-)

My suggestion would be, if you are on the dining plan... go for the cafe!! It's excellent!!!

Wolfgang Puck EXPRESS is the "cheap" version of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants.

We personally really like it, the food is so fresh, and prices are consistent with a counter service restaurant. Chinois chicken salad is lovely, and the mac'n'cheese is out of this world gooey goodness :)

If you're on the DDP, it's IMO the best use of a CS credit.

We ate there twice on our trip in June.... The spags and meatballs were great. The meatballs were the size of baseballs..... The kids loved the pizza and chiken tenders. I highly recommened it if your on the QSDP....

Even the servers were great. My youngest son ordered mac and cheese and did not like it. We asked Evan, our server, if he could have a pizza instead and he said it was no problem and told my son he did not like the mac and cheese either.

I think that WPE is probably the best CS restaurant on the property. The food is really good and it's an excellent value.

Love Wolfgang Puck Express! We tried breakfast for the first time during our trip last year and it was yummmy. Only ever had lunch/dinner there before. Which is also excellent.

We have eaten there many times and the food is always excellent, we have tried pizza, salad, rotissierie chicken and many sandwiches and have never been disappointed...so looking forward to our dinner there 4 weeks from today!
