If you've dined here, what did you have & did you enjoy it? :confused3 I had planned to try it for our trip next week, but the menu doesn't sound too exciting. Any feedback welcome!!!

WPE is a 'must do' every time I go to Disney.

Their BBQ chicken sandwich is delicious :thumbsup2 ...Garlic mashed potatoes...YUM!....herbed fries...YUM!

I also love their spciy chicken pizza!

I've never had a bad meal there :thumbsup2

We used the last two CS credits here and we all agreed to definitely go back. DH had the rosemary chicken and garlic potatoes. He said the potatoes were really good (he doesnt really care for potatoes) and the chicken was flavored just enough and not dry at all. I had the pasta with veggies with red sauce. I cant think of the exact name, but it did not come with any meat. It was very good and came with a bread stick. Each of the kids had the cheese pizza and that was delicious! I managed to sneak a slice and we all agreed it was good. We had 2 choc. chip cookies, 3 brownies (very good!) and mango tea. When we first got there, it was overwhelming because there were so many good sounding choices! From what I hear, everything is good.

We love it here! One of our favorites, actually!! Nice outdoor eating by a little fountain and the spicy chicken pizza and the Asian noodles are our "regular orders"!! We're trying the TS Wolfgang Puck's for our anniversary trip in November! :goodvibes

the macaroni and cheese is great and HUGE. I also like the butternut squash soup. as i recall, my husband liked the bbq chicken pizza. can't remember the desserts very well since when we went last time we didn't get one. i remember having a yummy cookie once that had dried cherries and chocolate in it.

Food was good. Pizza and mashed potatoes especially so. Overpriced, but not terribly so for WDW.

Service was mostly bad. Ate at the one on West Side twice, first time was fine. Second time we walked out, as they kept giving our food away to people who came in after us, despite my calling attention to it, and us standing right there at the end of the order que.

So, we still liked the food, and started going to the one at Marketplace. First time, food was great, service good, etc... Second time, order was wrong, had to send it back, waited 10 minutes for 1/2 the order to be corrected. Third time, they lost our order completely. After over 25 minutes of the pager not going off, and people who came in well after we ordered were sitting down and eating their food, we checked on why. Our order was nowhere to be found. They had completely lost it. Instead of waiting another 10-15 minutes more for the food, we got our money back and went to the Earl next door.
That is our experience with WPE.

I always get the 4 cheese pizza - it's the closest thing to the quattro formaggi I had in Italy. It's tough to find pizza that compares to Italy, and while not exact - it's close. The Margerita didn't really taste like what I had in Italy, but still good.

We've eaten there several times.

I've had the rosemary chicken and the BBQ chicken. I really liked both, though the BBQ a little better. I love mashed potatoes and I thought their's were very good.

It's sort of a counter service thing, where you order first at a cash register, then grab a table and they bring the food to you. We haven't had any problems with mistakes with our order.

Most of the seating is outside, under an awning or umbrellas. Very pleasant at night.

I wouldn't necessarily make a point of going to DTD just to eat there, but when we go to DTD without ADRs, WPE is a nice option.

It's my favorite counter service restaurant! The BBQ chicken quesadilla is so yummy, and so is the chinois salad! We had a great experience, and I think that it is definitely not overpriced for what you get. I believe that everything is $10 or under, and you get real plates with real silverware, always a nice touch at a counter service place! :goodvibes

Thanks for all of the replies! We'll be eating there on our arrival day for lunch! I can't wait to try it! :sunny:
