What's the difference between Westside and Marketplace? Are the menus different, different pricing, etc.?

There is more seating at the Marketplace. I don't know about the menu differences, except I know you can get the delicious key lime pie only at the West Side location.

Marketplace is more of an order at the counter, and they bring you the food, where West Side is a sit down restaurant. They have a larger menu, but for me, all I need is the butternut squash soup and creme brule and I'm good to go! We like the speed of the WPE too, since we have a little one with us, and there is plenty on the menu that we like (besides the soup and dessert LOL).

Big difference. The Westside menu is limited and there is pretty much no indoor seating.

West Side is a sit down restaurant.
The WP Cafe is a sitdown restaurant - not the Express. The Westside Express is a small area attached to the Cafe.

Actually, that's incorrect. The Westside location has 3 restaurants - an Express (Counter Service) and two table service - the Cafe and the Dining Room. Cafe is TS but more casual whereas Dining Room (upstairs) is more formal (and expensive).

The difference between the two Express locations (Marketplace and Westside) is down to the variety in the menus. Simply put, the Marketplace location has a far more extensive menu.

I do not believe the westside location is run by Wolfgang Puck as they do not take the WP gift certificates. I seem to remember they are run by one of the chains, maybe Darden but don't quote me on that. (you may be able to use the chain's gift certificate there) The menu is also more limited at the westside location.

Love, love, love the Marketplace WPE. Hate, hate, hate the West Side WPE. Had exactly the same thing at both places, within 5 days of each other. The order from the West Side WPE was nearly inedible. It was kind of dirty in there, no seating to speak of. Just not nearly as pleasant. Will not be back to that one. But, I do head to the Marketplace WPE every single trip!!!

Although Wolfgang Puck has his name on the restaurants at WDW, he doesn't own or manage them. They are part of the Levy restaurant group which also runs Fulton's and Portobello.

As others have said the West Side location is more limited, given a choice, I'd go to the Marketplace location.

The Wolfgang Puck website says that the cafe and the express accept gift cards? They better since I just bought $100 worth of gift cards! Anyone who has a costco membership you can get $100 gift card for $79.99 plus free shipping
