any feedback on this restaurant, NOT the cafe? we have meal plan and we have to pay surcharge for certain menu items. not sure which ones. i think you can eat upstairs and downstairs, one is fancy and one is casual. any comments would be appreciated. trying to decide.

We ate downstairs. The food was very good and very eclectic. There was something for everyone from pasta, to meat, to fish. You'll enjoy it.

The Dining Room upstairs is the more formal place. I don't know if it is currently on the MYW plan but I do know it was at times excluded from the Gold Plan. At times it was included but I would double check. We only dined upstairs once. The food was good and it is much quieter than downstairs at dinnertime. Our service was a mixed bag.

We eat in the Cafe downstairs often...pretty much each trip. The food is as good as upstairs, costs less (I know that doesn't matter to you since you are on a plan), and at lunch it is quiet and pleasant. We've even eaten out on the back patio a number of times overlooking the lake and now gazing at SSR. There is a very extensive menu in the Cafe.

There is also Wolfgang Puck Express in the same building which I assume counts as a CS meal? There is also an Express at the Marketplace.

This is one of our favorite spots. The food is very good, it's chatty and eclectic. Lots of fun and a great menu. From sushi to meatloaf.

I really enjoy the food at Puck Express, but we did not have the best experience at the (downstairs) Cafe in May. The tables are so jammed in that DH and I had a third guest at our table--the back fat of a guy at the next table.

My Margarita was expensive, but there was no evidence of tequila. The veggie spring roll appetizer was delicious but very small. DH's sushi special was a work of art and very good, but my Chinois Chicken Salad was DROWNING in dressing. Awful. The Express place makes it better, same portion for a lot less money.

So basically, once was enough. Back to the Express for us.
