I have to make our ADRs on the 19th. I keep going back and forth between these two for our second DTD night. The first night we'll be RFC (tradition). We're on the Deluxe Dining Plan if that makes any difference.

Anyone done both? If you've eaten at either please give me your reviews.

Thanks!

We've tried both and they're good in different ways. Obviously, Raglan Road serves Irish-inspired dishes while Wolfgang Puck's Cafe serves a large variety of dishes (American, Italian, Japanese). So it really depends on your personal taste....

We ate at Raglan Road 3 years ago and loved it; went back this year and thought it was horrible. We were on the deluxe dining plan and there were
several appetizers at Raglan that we were told we couldn't order. DH had the shepherd's pie which used to be great but now is made with a tomato base and he didn't care for it at all. I had the chicken pie which was cold in the middle and basically just a frozen chicken pot pie. Needless to say we won't go back. Haven't tried WPC yet.

This is a tough one.:scratchin We love both of these places.

We love the Irish setting at RR and has become a must do for us every trip. The music is great but it can be loud at times depending on where you are sitting. But the show is always great. The Bleeding Chowder is yummo! And the Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding is one of my favorite desserts. The Guinness is so good here too.:drinking1

Wolfgangs is also another favorite of ours. There is a wider range of dishes here and if you like sushi, its excellent at WGP. Again, we have found this restaurant very loud and sometimes appears chaotic. The food, however has always been excellent. The calamari is my son's favorite of anywhere he has had it. The pastas and pizzas are always good. The Bolognese is some of the best. Desserts are also good. The carrot cake and key lime pie are winners with us.

I know I probably haven't been much help in narrowing your selection, but it should comfort you to know that you will be fine with whatever one you choose in my opinion. I think the best thing to do is look at the menus of both and see what options fit you family best. Good luck and let us know what you decide.:goodvibes

They really are just different. RR has a more limited menu that is very Irish inspired. Some people love it, some hate it. WPC has a wider menu with lots of choices - just about anyone could find something they like there. Atmosphere is nice at both; if you dine late enough at RR, you can catch the Irish dancer and band but be warned they are LOUD and can't be seen from all parts of the restaurant.

I like both. I think WPC has great sushi and a wider variety. RR has fantastic bread pudding. Go with whatever menu appeals most to your family.

My DW are planning on going to the La Nouba show, on the DDP, and have narrowed it down to these two choices. We did Raglan Road back in 2007 and thought it was OK. My thought is to eat at Wolfgang Puck Cafe and have adult beverages after the show at Raglan Road.

How about dinner and drinks at WGP and the Dessert and drinks at RR after the show. (Noticed how I fit drinks into both???):lmao:

Seriously have to have some of that Bread Pudding from RR! Its the best:thumbsup2

We were torn between the 2 for our upcoming trip as well. I settled on WPC because there is more variety. Had RR still isted the drunk chicken as an app, I might have gone with RR for my dh's benefit. There really wasn't anything on the RR menu he'd be crazy about and there are quite a few things on the WPC menu.
