Hi,
Well we are doing the preferred dining thing combined with World of Color so I know section wise where we will be. I imagine in where in the section is first come first serve.
For people who have done this

What time do they let people into the sections?

During the show pictures that I've seen it looks lik everyone is standing up??

During fireworks everyone stands but that's not a problem for little ones as everyone is looking up. Fantasmic everyone sits down.

So....WOC does everyone stand or sit?

When we were there last week they started letting everyone into the viewing area at about 7:15 or 7:20. We showed up right around that time and there was already a mob of people there waiting. You have to stand for the show. They have everyone stand up for the pre-show but you can sit before that starts while you wait.

I was afraid of this how are little ones supposed to see??

Fireworks I'd understand sitting everything is in the air, having everyone stand for WOC seems stupid. My son is 50 pounds I can't hold that for 30 minutes

show up earlier and get a front row seat...

Is there a restaurant where you can sit and watch or someplace with a balcony? I could swear I read something about a $10.00 cover/pp for someplace, but I can't find the info now.

The $10 cover is at the Cove Bar above Ariel's Grotto, I'm sure you could try to see it from there but you'll be watching it from the back and slightly to the side so I'm not sure how it would look.

you will be standing for WOC in the sections....

or you can do the $10 charge at cove bar, but not a great place to watch the show..

just show up early get your FP and watch from front, that is the best way to do it!

And I'm pretty sure at the time where you pay the $10 cover that kids aren't admitted...I think they are only allowed there during the day.

We've had our kids in the Cove Bar at all times of day and it's never been a problem.

We talked to the waitress in there about our family (2 kids) seeing it last weekend. She never said anything it being adults only at night.

some of the animation occurs pretty close to the audience and won't be visible from outside the viewing area. not sure how the Cove Bar would work but I was surprised at how much can be missed when one is not in the viewing area.

I got the dinner package and got a centre front viewing space. which was pretty good - but you don't want to be too close! some things happen close and right on the water front makes it hard to see. Also being too close you get rained on the entire show. I should have acted when the poncho seller came around!

re: kids the problem is when parents put the kids on their shoulders - then if you are behind them you can't see a thing. And people hold up video cameras so that's another blockage. I suspect being one or two terraces up would be better - esp at the railings.

finally - don't know if they are still doing this but they were letting us in at about 7:30pm and then demanding that we all stay standing the entire wait. the CMs would walk away and then we'd all sit down again, then back they'd come and demand we'd all stand up again.

But when the show came on - all was forgotten and I was lost in the magic!

I suggest getting there early and try to get a spot up against the railing. We were in the yellow section (I think) and most of the little kids were standing up against the railing at the front so that they could see.

The night we were there the CM's were making us stand until the section was full. Once the section was full we were able to sit until the pre-show started. They had us stand when the pre-show started and then for the WOC show itself. Standing was not much fun but so worth it. WOC was awesome!!
