From all my reading on these boards it sounds like the front rail would be best. Has anyone had a good view in preferred dining from another location? If so where? I have a huge fear we may not be able to get the front and I am so worried we will have a lousy view so any info would be greatly appreciated we will have a big party of 10 people 5 of which are little kids. Ages 8 thru 1. Thanks for any help.

In order to appreciate the full scope of the show, DH, our friends and their two kids (ages 3 and 2) we in the 3rd tier of the dining area. Basically as you go in we were in the first section on the left. The thing about being at the rail is to quote Grizzly River Rapids, "You will get wet, you may get soaked." We saw people walking out of that area who looked like they had taken a shower with their clothes on. Where we were, we stayed dry and we could see everything. Both the kids were up on shoulders, but it was easy to see. Good luck and have fun!

With kids that young and then of course short ;), you will need to be closer to the rail in order for them to see. We are a family of 4, our kids are teenagers and everyone is at leat 5 feet 5 inches, so no issues for seeing the show. We didn't want to get there earlier, so we arrived about 8:25 and were 2/3 of the way back. Lots of room still behind us, but not good viewing for the smaller ones. There was someone right next to us who had his daughter on his shoulders and if there wasn't enough room to move around, he definately would have blocked other's view. Our view was great and I certainly didn't mind being a bit further back in the preferred section but probably wouldn't work for you. Didn't really see anyone "soaked" but wasn't look for it either. You can always go to Walmart and get $.88 disposable rain ponchos and just throw them out when you are done. Have a great trip!

Thanks for the info. None of us will have our husbands so we are not going to be putting kids on our shoulders. I don't think the 1 and 2 year olds will care much but I want the kids who are 5,6, and 8 to be able to see.
