WOC or Fantasmic..

That is a very tough choice. I really love both shows. WOC is beautiful and F! is exciting and magical. I guess it depends on what you're really looking for in a show. Are you looking for real actors or movies? F! is mostly characters putting on the show, where WOC is mostly movie scenes shown on curtains of water. Not sure if it's possible, but maybe you could catch the early F! and do the late WOC if it's a matter of only having 1 day. :confused3

My kids are older and we all liked WOC better. But I wonder if more smaller children liked F! better. WOC can be hard to see especially for small children. Of course, at F! you would probably have to stake out a good spot. :confused3

F! hands down. I liked WOC, but it wasn't as wonderful as I was expecting from all the hype here. On our last trip we saw WOC our first day, F! our second, and went back to see F! again (staking out seats hours before) but we didn't even bother seeing WOC again (and we could get FPs easy because we were staying on site). That's how much better I liked F!.

We have not seen WOC, but we always do F. Going to try and give WOC a shot this summer but the wait time seems to be dragging everyone down.

Easy. I would choose World of Color. Whether that is the best choice for someone else depends on so many factors including the mix in the group age wise. And how much effort one is willing to put in to get a good viewing spot. It is easier to get a good spot for Fantasmic.

:cool2:

F! is by far my favorite show. Not only do you get to see water projections and fire just like WoC, but I like it is due to the characters, boats, floats, & Murphy the dragon. It is a classic nighttime show that is still continuing for almost 20 years and has not gotten old to me and others. Both shows are annoying to get good spots if you don't want to put the time in it, F! is easier to get a good spot since there are sitting areas which WoC doesn't have yet.

both
were doing picnic for woc an were also going to F tho my huby said we arent payign60 to get seats an chocolate covered stwarberys

I enjoyed both performances. WOC is bigger as far as area and that adds to the wow factor but F! is more dramatic with the story and all. I dont know which I would choose if I could only see one of them. Im leaning towards F! though.

If you are asking because you need to choose between one, then there is no reason to ask. It is entirely possible to see both in one night, especially during off-season times right now. See the 9.15 World of Color and then calmly walk over for the 10.15 Fantasmic!. You will make it easily. World of Color fastpasses are now available well into the evening for the 10.15 and, increasingly the 9.15, do not "sell out" of Fast Passess. This past Sunday evening, the 9.15 and 10.15 were "open seating." I showed up at 9PM and got my pick of anywhere I wanted for the 9.15.

Do you think that is too much for one day? We will be at DL for three days.. but one of thos is a half day.. and the other I don't think my cousin's son can see WOC due to medical issues.

Fantasmic, hands down.

It's not that WoC is bad or something, but for me it just wasn't worth the hype. It is beautiful. But like someone has described it in a topic here, it is kind of a clip show. Fantasmic follows a general story, and I like that better.

The thing with F! is that you cannot see any signs during the day that there is a show on the island. You have go over there, play on it and look everywhere and not find a single shred of evidence that the island comes to life at night. Whereas you can see the entire dock under water during the day for WoC. It just adds to the magic that is Disney. Now WoC is awesome! Love it, last summer we saw 2 shows during our stay but F! adds to the magic
