WOC on CM Party Night - Possible Nightmare?!?

Our first day is Tuesday, December 13th, which is a CM party night at DL so it's closing at 6 pm. We'll head over to DCA (which I expect to be busy), and I'm mulling over whether or not we should do WOC that night or just stick to the rides. Any thoughts on whether or not it would be a huge mistake or a great idea? I could get picnics to avoid having to duck in there in the morning and get FP. We have seen WOC already (the first week it opened as well as last December), so it's not essential that we make it if it could be an absolute zoo. I just thought it might be something to do the night DL is closed. Maybe we should just stick with the rides?

WoC has a limit to how crowded it can get and hits it often. DCA has never reached it's limit. So WoC is not likely to be any harder to see than when you visited before, the rest of DCA will be.

WoC since it has ticketed viewing is a great alternative on nights in DCA when other lines can grow abnormally large.

Thanks! I guess I should get a picnic, since I don't really feel like losing early morning hours at DL to get a fast pass, and they could all go.

You could send one person to get the FPs. By the time DCA opens, DL will hav been open a couple hours.

Picnics are OK if you want, but even if you can't send a runner, I don't think the FPs will all go in the span of a few hours. If you want to be certain to get yellow, then yeah, but I think if you got there by noon you'd most likely get a yellow FP anyway.

With the new entrance layout, it is very easy to send a runner to get Soarin' FPs on their way to get WoC FPs, too.
