I will be at DCA on Thurs 09/16. I am DYING to see WOC. The only showing is at 8:15. I have a 3 yr old and a 6 mo old so I don't really want to commit to purchasing the picnic meals. If the kids are burnt out and we have to leave I don't wanna waste the $. How early do you think I would need to arrive to get a spot on a Thursday night in September? I am thinking it won't be too busy yet, so I should be ok. What do you think???

It is difficult to know or predict what it will be like in September since the WOC has always been scheduled during the busy summer months. They will probably still be issuing FP. If I were you, I would get to the park when it opens and get FP for the 8:15 showing. That way you can have FPs to get into the viewing area easier if you can go. They will tell you to show up near the viewing area about an hour and half before the show begins to let FP holders get their viewing spots.

The other thing I would do is keep an eye out for any new threads here that talk about other people's experiences when the WOC starts its fall schedule.

This is a good question to ask next week. Offseason will start next Tuesday and end on the day you are there. So estimates based on experience are not quite applicable to your situation. But next week when WoC drops to one show a night on weekdays people may know a clear answer.

i would get there as soonas DCA opens which is usualyy 10:00 that way you can get a fastpass for the first showing. because honestly without the fastpass, views for the WOC arent that great :confused3
