Since WOC is a standing event, how does Disney allow for guests in a wheelchairs to be able to see? I'm a bit concerned based on reading that kids are on parents' shoulders etc.
Also, can any of your family stay with you during the show?
We are planning to get FPs but aren't doing the lunch or dinner.
Any experiences or suggestions would be very much appreciated!

There is a wheelchair section, which is first come first served, that would allow the wheelchair to be up against the fence so they would not have anybody directly in front of them. The family can remain in the area but may not be able to be right next to them. There are also are very limited number of benches for those without wheelchairs you still need seating, but families cannot sit on the bench with them. I believe there is a section for each color of fast pass. They will let wheelchairs in before the rest of the crowd if you want to go wherever, but you have to be there before the official fast pass time opens

Thank you so much for this info.
So as long as we arrive before the FP indicated time, we should be ok to get a wheelchair spot or do people in wheelchairs line up far in advance for spots? It doesn't matter to me if I have the "perfect" spot, just so people are not standing directly in front of me.

I would get there at least 10 minutes before the start of return fast pass time, just to be safe. They will let you into either the wheelchair section or any area that you would like, before they let everybody else in. So you're basically guaranteed and railing spot somewhere
