WOC FP questions

Does anyone know if there is any advantage in location at WOC if you pre-order a meal and get FP or go to DCA morning of WOC and get FP from machine?

On the average, are both times equally crowded - 9pm and 10:15pm?

My daughter and I will be going Aug 30.

No advantage in location between the picnic meal and FP distribution machines. There have been some reports that the later shows have not been as full.

Just so you are aware, crowds at 9PM or 10:15PM or not the issue. The issue is whether you arrive early enough to get a spot with a decent view. The viewing area for WOC is flawed and there are many poor and mediocre views. And your view of the show makes all the difference in the world. Whether it is crowded or not crowded, you need to be in a spot where you can see.
