We were going to look into doing the WOC dinner package but then I remembered we have two people in our group that will need to be in the ECV viewing area. Can anyone compare those viewing areas? Is there a map somewhere?
We saw WOC a few days ago and were in the yellow section, right up against the rope divider for the HC viewing area. It looked like the Preferred Dining FP section was the next section past that. The HC viewing area was not full that night, and the view from the benches looked good. It was breezy that night, and we were far enough back to not get misted. If you want to be closer to the water or in the wet zone itself, then the PD FPs (Ariel's and WCT) would be better.
On the night we saw WOC, it appeared that there was only the one central HC viewing area. Again, as I said, the area was far from full that night, so maybe that's why there was only one area instead of several.
How many people are allowed with the person in the ECV in the HC section? I will be in an ECV and traveling with 3 others (one who will have a DAS pass) does that make a difference?
I answered this a couple of months back so this is copied from that thread -
We did the package in Oct for the Trattoria. MIL and FIL both have mobility issues, FIL had an ECV. We had an amazing spot on the benches (well, FIL and MIL sat while DH, DD and I stood) right behind everybody standing who had the package. It was a little higher than everybody in front and there was enough separation that DD and I stood in front of a tree and had enough room to sit on the ground and still see with no one blocking us.
Usually I would not pay for a spot but was so glad we did for this show. Totally worth it, especially with an ECV.
edit - tried to find a pic but all I took while at the spot was a video of the first few minutes of WOC

Last time we went my mom was in a wheelchair so we used the handicap viewing area. Including my mom there was 6 of us. Those in an ECV or wheelchair must be in the front, and then the rest of the party is allowed behind them.
Everyone in your party can join in the section. Those who don't need it just stand in the back. There is at least one HC section for each section. Ariel/Wine Trattoria is to the right of the bottom circle (2nd level from the water). Blue/yellow inside is the same section to the right of the top circle (3rd level from the water). Carthay is on the far right side of the section (4th tier from top). Blue outside is on the top level by the red/blue light tower. Yellow outside is in the top in front of the arch by Little Mermaid. WCs can go anywhere in the section. If you get there a little before load in (hour before show) you will be let in first to find a spot on the rails.
